🌎✨ Reflecting on my participation at the Caribbean Development Bank Youth for Innovation (FIRE) Forum, where I had the opportunity to present and engage in a panel discussion on "Resilience Under Pressure – Climate, Energy and Survival in the Caribbean."

🌿 As climate-related disasters become more frequent and increasingly costly 🌪️🌊, we must also reflect on the lessons past crises have taught us and how they can inform our path forward.

🎤 During my presentation, I highlighted the importance of:

✨ Meaningful inclusion of Indigenous peoples in decision-making processes.

👩🏽‍💼 Empowering women to play transformative roles in strengthening our communities.

🤝 Recognizing the critical role of the private sector in resilience-building efforts.

🗣️ Promoting intergenerational dialogue to address both present challenges and historical injustices.

🌱 Building a resilient Caribbean requires all voices at the table and a commitment to solutions that are inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven.

Together, we can create a future that honors our past, empowers our present, and safeguards generations to come. 💚🌎
