This weeks artist of the week: @ferg.561

Interview:
What does the underground scene mean to you?

To me, the underground is a safe, energetic environment where artists can express themselves, release their energy, and showcase their craft—whether that’s through music, fashion, art, or any other form of creativity.

It’s a space for the outcasts, misfits, and lost souls to feel free, have fun, and be unapologetically themselves. The underground gives people the freedom to create and do what they love without being confined by the rules n expectations of a label, or limitations that society tries to place on us.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
I would have to say XXXTentacion, because he was unlike anyone else. He stayed true to himself, did what he believed in, and never allowed himself to be completely defined by what people expected of him. Despite the constant negativity and controversy surrounding him, he continued to believe in the people around him and built an incredibly dedicated community of fans in a cult like fashion at that .

Oh Rockville where do I begin🤯😮‍💨

From screaming every word with My Chemical Romance, losing my mind in the chaos for Turnstile, raging with Waka Flocka in the pit, getting a black eye n a tooth knocked out during Sullivan King and feeling every emotion during Bring Me The Horizon… this weekend was bigger than just music.

Met so many amazing people, made memories I’ll carry forever, and felt more alive than I have in a long time. Festivals like this remind me why I love this scene so much complete strangers turning into family over music that we all love

Thank you Rockville for the 4 days of chaos, the energy, the late nights, and the laughs, the pits, and the unforgettable moments even tho the rain played around with us we still made the best of it.
Until next year I’ll see you in the pits!-FERG🖤🧛🏽
