Campout Spotlight: @fergusonsongs After playing Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits with his high school band and dropping a solo LP, Ian Ferguson is ready to reintroduce himself. Having played guitar since he was 12, the Tennessee native fronted the now-defunct band The Kingston Springs until 2015 and released his debut solo album, State of Gold, in 2019. Now, he’s gearing up to drop his first record as just FERGUSON — a move that comes with a symbolically experimental sound We are very excited to have @fergusonsongs performing on Saturday night, September 26th, at The Good Luck Campout! Day passes and camping passes available. Tickets at the website. Link in bio #fergusonsongs #thegoodluckcampout2026 by @fergusonsongs

FERGUSON @fergusonsongs is a singer/songwriter out of Nashville whose indie rock music channels the best of ’60-70s era pop. His debut album, State of Gold, was released back in 2019 (under his full name, Ian Ferguson), and he quickly followed that up with the B-sides record, Junk, the following year. And now FERGUSON has released his latest album, Never In My Life, which came out in September 2025 on County Fair Records. Recorded with producer Will Brown in East Nashville, FERGUSON wrote all songs and played every instrument on the album and the result is 10 pop songs that have been described as “a spiritual cousin ton the experimental pop sounds of Sargent Peppers and Pet Sounds.” Check out Never In My Life wherever you get your music and make sure to follow FERGUSON to see what comes next! Listening note: @fergusonsongs is the FIRST podcast guest to put @thebeachboys on his playlist! 🏆 🔗LINK TO PLAYLIST & INTERVIEW IN BIO🔗 Playlist Track Listing: 1. “Solitude” by Duke Ellington 2. “Love Hurts” by The Everly Brothers @everlybrothersofficial 3. “ Walk on By” by Dionne Warwick @therealdionnew 4. “Hereos and Villains” by The Beach Boys @thebeachboys 5. “Ruby” by Silver Apples 6. “I’ve Been Waiting for You” by Neil Young @neilyoungarchives 7. “Tonight Will Be Fine” by Leonard Cohen @leonardcohen 8. “Monkberry Moon Delight” by Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney @paulmccartney @lindamccartney 9. “Queen Bitch” by David Bowie @davidbowie 10. “Satori Part I” by Flower Travellin’ Band 11. “M.E.” by Gary Numan @garynuman 12. “Coming Up” by Paul McCartney @paulmccartney 13. “I Can’t Hardly Stand It” by The Cramps @thecrampsofficial 14. “Voices Carry” by ‘Til Tuesday 15. “Maureen” by Sade @sade Slide 3 photo credit: Jeff Genter by @fergusonsongs
