A.) Antique F&Co. “Primrose” Sepia Transferware Plate {Undamaged} — SOLD

B.) Antique F&Co. “Primrose” Sepia Transferware Plate {Flea Bite} — $42 & 📦

• Beautiful sepia botanical terre de fer featuring brambles, butterflies + wildflowers. Both have lovely allover crazing, staining, and age-related wear; B has a chip. Measures: 8.5” diameter.

C.) Antique c. late-1800s Creil et Montereau Confiture Pot — $72 & 📦

• Classic French creamware confiture pot with a simple utilitarian form, beautiful crazing + staining from age and use. One small mature chip. Marked Creil et Montereau to base. Measures: 4” diameter × 3.25” T.

D.) Vintage c. 1957 Stuart High Heel Shoe Last / Mold — $38 & 📦

• Such a fun old shoemaking form with an exaggerated high heel silhouette, warm wood patina + original Stuart markings. Scratches, scuffs and wear throughout from its former working life. Measures: 5” L × approx. 5” T.

E.) Antique French Stoneware Confit Pot — $74 & 📦

• Beautiful warm brown glazed stoneware with interior staining & crazing, surface variation and age-related wear throughout. Measures: 4.75” T × 5.5” handle-to-handle.

We live in a world that celebrates the hustle. Always being busy. Always moving. Always working toward the next goal, the next season, the next version of ourselves.

There’s so much emphasis on how far we still have to go that sometimes we forget to look around at how far we’ve already come.

Maybe we should celebrate the slower moments, too.

The mornings that don’t begin with a rush. The ordinary afternoons spent at home. The meals around the table, the little feet running through the hallway, the conversations that linger a little longer. The seasons of life that may not feel particularly remarkable while we’re living them… but someday, we’ll wish we could step back into for just a moment.

Maybe it isn’t about having more, doing more, or filling every quiet moment.

Maybe it’s about slowing down enough to realize that so much of what we’re searching for is already here, in the ordinary days, the imperfect homes, the well-loved things, and the people gathered inside them.

A beautiful life doesn’t have to be grand.

Sometimes, it just needs to be noticed.

So today, instead of thinking about what’s next, take a moment to notice where you are right now.

What’s something in your life you’re grateful for lately? Or something you’ve accomplished, big or small, that you haven’t stopped long enough to be proud of yourself for?

Tomorrow evening, we’re gathering in the English countryside for a very special Candle Vessel Live celebrating Des’ birthday hosted by @houndandpheasant & @estateofmindhome 🤍

Inspired by the storied sporting traditions of the English countryside full of equestrian life, faithful hounds, timeworn silver, rich glass, old country houses and the thrill of finding something worth bringing home.

We’ve each been on the hunt for vessels worthy of a second life, and tomorrow night they’ll be transformed into one-of-a-kind candles. Expect sporting dogs, horses, beautiful glass, aged silver and plenty of old-world English charm that all remind us of Des!
