1. PRINTED TIMELINES - so you’re not constantly answering “what’s next?” (the bridal suite is not a help desk!)

2. straws for drinking - so lipstick doesn’t get ruined

3. wooden hanger for dress photos

4. extra wooden hangers for other dresses (bridesmaids, mother, mil, etc)

5. the wedding rings (yes, really)

6. bouquets

7. a designated contact for vendors (if no planner)

8. a steamer for last minute dress or veil wrinkles

9. matching robes or PJs for cute getting ready photos

10. sewing kit for wardrobe malfunctions

11. safety pins

12. fashion tape

13. stain remover

14. hair pins/elastics

15. bandaids + blister pads (new shoes can hurt)

16. camera or polaroid for fun bts photos

17. extra phone chargers and a power bank

18. champagne (obviously)

19. enough champagne glasses for everyone

1. Zip ties - For broken straps, signs, bouquets and decor

2. Unwaxed dental floss - Strong enough for a broken bustle loop or heavy button

3. White chalk - Masks a small stain on a white dress

4. A fabric scrap saved from alterations - For a matching patch, replacement loop or stain test

5. A travel steamer

6. Spare earring backs

7. A crochet hook - Fastens rows of tiny dress buttons quickly

8. Pre-threaded needles

9. Fabric repair tape

10. A jewellery polishing cloth - Removes fingerprints before ring photos.

11. Clear nail polish - Stops a run in hosiery from spreading

12. Heel stoppers - Keep heels from sinking into grass

13. Gaffer tape - A strong fix when regular tape will not hold

14. Dress weights - Keep dresses under control in the wind

15. A necklace safety chain or extender - Helps with a tight fit or unreliable clasp

16. Floral wire and floral tape - Repairs bouquets, boutonnieres and floral accessories

17. Mini needle-nose jewellery pliers - Repairs clasps, jump rings, zipper pulls and wire

18. Dryer sheets - Reduce static on dresses, veils and slips

19. Spare jewellery clasps or jump rings - Rescue a broken bracelet or necklace

20. A clear ring-size adjuster - Keeps a loose wedding ring secure

21. Spare bustle loops or narrow ribbon - Helpful if a bustle loop snaps

Can you imagine tying the knot in the mountains via helicopter, with just the two of you, your officiant, us there to capture it all, (and of course the helicopter pilot haha) 🥹💙😭

Truly the dreamiest little elopement, surrounded by nothing but mountains and so much beauty. The gasp I guspt when we arrived and saw where they were about to get married. What magic.

Such an honour to capture this beautiful day.

1. Not having scissors on the wedding night. If someone has to sew your dress during the day, your husband may literally need them to cut you out of it later.

2. Not taking a video of how to bustle the dress Have your seamstress teach one designated person, record the entire tutorial, and send the video to at least two people.

3. Forgetting a crochet hook.

4. Not matching the dress and veil shades.

5. Not realizing the dress could cling from static Place a dryer sheet inside the garment bag the day before the wedding

6. Letting wet bouquet stems drip onto the dress

7. Using a dirty steamer on the gown. Empty and clean the steamer before the wedding. Old water or buildup can spit onto the dress and leave marks.

8. Not bringing white chalk. White chalk can mask a small mark in a pinch. Pack it with a dress safe stain remover, just in case.

9. Having an aisle that’s too narrow for the dress

10. Not having someone fan out the train at the altar Designate someone to fan out your train after you walk down the aisle and reach the altar.

11. Not scheduling time to bustle the dress.

12. Not bringing scissors. Keep a pair in your dress emergency kit for loose threads, tags, and last-minute repairs.

13. Being too afraid to let the bottom of the dress get dirty A little dirt is normal. Don’t miss meaningful moments trying to keep your dress spotless.
