There’s no place like The Pynk. As P-Valley returns for its final season, creator Katori Hall and stars Nicco Annan, Brandee Evans, Shannon Thornton and Gail Bean reflect on the show’s enduring legacy of Black Southern culture, queer identity, bodily autonomy and revolution. At the #linkinbio, we go inside the world of Chucalissa to explore the stories, histories and people that made The Pynk a home for the marginalized and the majestic. We Bloom Where We Are Planted! Still taking a moment to breathe it all in. Serving as the Assistant Costume Designer for the Benito Bowl was truly one of the greatest thrills of my career. To have an imprint on a stage this big, the biggest in the world, is something I don’t take lightly. Also to see and feel how much joy we provided the world! As a brown boy from Miami, raised by Honduran parents, I keep thinking about the version of me who just kept going, even when the path wasn’t clear. This moment is for him. I never gave up, and standing here now feels like purpose meeting preparation. Being trusted alongside Monique to help create a literal field of dreams, and then watching that vision come to life with 380 real people from every walk of life, along side our 77 crew members, was powerful beyond words. It wasn’t just costumes. It was community, movement, and storytelling happening in real time. I’m overwhelmed with joy, gratitude, and pride to have been part of such a historic moment. To be a fan first, and then be invited to design such an intricate, textured, layered world filled with colorful characters… what a dream come true. Forever grateful. Thank you, @katorihall @starz @pvalleystarz 💜 @kemi_yondo | 🫶🏾🫵🏽🫂 To the fans: the team and I are going to make you proud! Be prepared to be overstimulated! #costumedesigner by @fernlegadoe

Costume designer first, stylist second. Every look starts with a bolt of fabric and a muse as a blank canvas. For Victony’s “Slick” remix, @summerwalker was my canvas, this copper shimmer my paint, and @aquaticallure brought the vision to life. From the form to the screen: every drape made to move. Out now. 🔥💋 @vict0ny @dontoliver 📸 @dia1lo_ #costumedesign #styledbyfern by @fernlegadoe
