Day One or One Day? 💪
I’ve been working out for many decades—teaching fitness classes, hiking, playing pickleball, biking, swimming, and staying active—but I’ve never tried to do a pull-up.
Yesterday, after 90 minutes of pickleball, I decided it was time to try something I’ve never done before. And then I went back and played another 90 minutes of pickleball afterward! 😂
So yesterday was Day One.
I’m starting with a 50-pound assistance band, and I’ve given myself a goal: one unassisted pull-up in one year.
And while I’m at it, I’m working on my push-ups too. I’m up to 11 full push-ups, and I’m really trying to get to 12! 😂
I’m terrible at editing videos 😂, but I wanted to share this anyway. Maybe it will inspire someone to try something they never thought they could do.
Because it’s never too late to challenge yourself, get stronger, and learn something new.
64 and getting better every day. ❤️
