Whoa, talk about a blast from the past! This is 12-year-old me in 1994 at Pacific Coast Sectionals, the competition that qualified me to move on to compete at Nationals that same year. Watching it now feels like stepping into another lifetime—how did I have so much energy for all those double jumps and spins?!

For Christmas, my sister found the original VHS tape and had it converted to digital. Such a fun and thoughtful gift! Enjoy this little peek at my ice skating glory days. This isn’t the whole video, I’ll get that up on YouTube soon ❄️⛸ #FigureSkating #IceSkating by @ferryface

Some more sweet moments from our lil wedding shoot 🤍💍 by @ferryface

Felt like this one needed its own little moment 🤍 by @ferryface

10.10.26 turned to a 10.9.26 wedding. Buuuuut, it kinda fits our style. We tend to wiggle through life’s obstacles and come out the other end a-okay. So, hello to this next chapter, we are the Garcia’s 💍 by @ferryface

Hitched yesterday 💍 (not as planned). Wedding photos today (not as planned). But it all worked out in the end. I got to marry my savior, my best friend, my love 🤍 by @ferryface

The storm may have pushed our wedding up a day AND cut our night short, but we still managed to squeeze in at least one wedding reel 😂🕶️ by @ferryface

Respectfully… we all have bigger fish to fry by @ferryface

Had the best day being showered and loved by my beautiful girls. Thank you for making this bride feel all the feels 🤍 (and for bringing a little bit of Nash to Florida)

A very happy 40th to one of my longest long time friends @bandiceanne 🎂 thanks for getting us all on a ship 🛳️ by @ferryface

Sometimes the universe has the sweetest timing. 🤍

This weekend at @shelby.sapp’s @womenandwealthcon, I unexpectedly ran into one of my oldest figure skating friends. We’ve known each other since we were 7 and 9 years old, and somehow it felt like no time had passed…

Life has a funny way of bringing your people back into your orbit. So grateful for little surprises like this. ✨ by @ferryface

Three years ago today, my brain decided to choose violence.

A massive hemorrhagic stroke that, by all accounts, should’ve taken me out… but somehow I’m still here.

The last three years have taught me that healing isn’t linear, life is incredibly fragile, and tomorrow is never promised. They’ve also taught me to laugh more, stress less, and appreciate the little things.

And of course, I have to give my annual thank you to my fiancé, Jose. If it weren’t for him recognizing something was wrong immediately and getting me to the hospital, I wouldn’t be here today. I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me, supported me, and believed I’d make it through.

Three years later, I’m still here… and I don’t plan on wasting this second chance. 🤍

Well… 44 showed up yesterday whether I was ready or not. 🎂😏

Year 43 was actually a pretty good one…

I celebrated one year of being a Harley rider, got engaged to my raccoon-loving Arkansas man, and heading into year 3 of stroke recovery (something worth mentioning, I managed to reduce my blood pressure meds by 75%… that’s a huge win because it lowers my risk of another stroke by a lot) 💪

I also gained another adorable nephew, met some amazing people, and made some incredible memories with friends along the way.

All in all… 43 treated me pretty well.

Thanks to everyone who sent birthday love. I’m grateful for you all. Now let’s see what kind of trouble 44 brings. by @ferryface
