>> KILLING SADIE <<

Author: Rachel Peterson

Killing Sadie, by Rachel Peterson was a riveting story and as a personal thriller/mystery lover, I could easily enjoy this book. Following through a series of interviews from her sister, Jayne, her friend, Liz, and Ben, her boyfriend, we follow the retelling of what happened that night and before. The dysfunctionality of Sadie’s family and the betrayal of people close to her make everyone look like a suspect. Although this was meant to be a simple open and shut case, new information came to light, and some things just weren’t what they seemed.

For me, the air of suspense that was held throughout the entire book made it a binge worthy book that sucked you in till you realize that you finished it in less than a day. It was beautifully written with twists and turns planted at every turn. It was nice to have a book that had a slightly different take on a usual thriller, but it still was able to deliver.

Overall, the appealing aspects to this book like the suspense, mystery, and story, made it an enjoyable book to read. Rachel Peterson has clearly put time and effort into a brilliant mystery that could appeal to the YA age group. The story seemed to be coming off of the pages and into the real world with the attention to detail making Killing Sadie one of my top favorites for sure!

>> THE CHEERLEADER IS OFF LIMITS <<

Author: QB Tyler

This story has all the signature QB Tyler taboo and spice factors! Sloane, a high school student who is 19 years old and River, the 38 year old high school football coach didn’t realize what they were getting into when they randomly hit it off at an airport bar and Sloane lied about her age. But their chemistry was undeniable and they couldn’t stay away from each other even when they both found out the truth. I loved the inclusion of Rowan’s kiddos from The Nanny is Off Limits😊

>> JUST FOR THE PLOT <<

Author: Meghan Quinn

I haven’t devoured a book this fast in a long time. This book was everything I never knew I needed. This feels like the older Meghan Quinn books where it focuses more on the emotional connection without losing the story’s humor. I enjoyed this book so much and I’m excited for everyone else to discover this gem too.

>> EVERY SUMMER AFTER <<

Author: Carley Fortune

I adored this book so much. It gave nostalgia summer vibes and with a coming of age love story that makes your heart melt. The author has a way of writing stories that make you feel like you are living in a memory of your own youth.

With the show I did love how they brought the scenery of Barry’s Bay to life and made me yearn for carefree summers of being young. Was it my favorite book to TV adaptation, eh not really, but I am curious to see if season 2 will be better than season 1.

❓Have you watched the show yet? Or plan on watching the tv adaptation?

>> THE DEAL <<

Author: Elle Kennedy

Did I have some apprehension going into watching Off Campus, yes, but did the show deliver, YES! I am proud to say I devoured this series twice and enjoyed every second of it. Not only was it entertaining while keeping to the core of the book, the chemistry sizzled on my screen, and I just adored Beau 🥹, Dean, and Logan! I can’t wait for season 2.

>> GOOD SPIRITS <<

Author BK Borison

I just adored this book. From start to finish, it had my heart. From Nolan charismatic charm to Harriet bright spirit, this heartwarming holiday romance is the best book to pick up this season.

Even though I’ve already read this book, I’m currently rereading it again by listening to the audiobook while wrapping present!

>> REWIND IT BACK <<

Author: Liz Tomforde

I am a huge sucker for books with page details like illustrations or black out pages so I pumped when I saw that @liztomforde.author went the extra mile and added these details to one of my favorites series. Reading Rewind It Back was like coming home to your happy place. This book is sweet (and spicy 🤭) and has the best friend group in all of book romance history. So sad to see this series end but it was a fun ride getting there.
