A compelling and timely television pilot that brilliantly explores the dark contrast between social media perfection and harsh reality.

However, behind their carefully curated facade, Camila secretly battles substance addiction and resorts to selling drugs to keep their enterprise afloat. When an unexpected pregnancy forces her into an incredibly difficult choice, their perfect image begins to crumble, jeopardizing both their business and their relationship.

Writer Jana Mosquera and director Saulón Guerrero craft a gripping, emotionally charged drama that strips away the digital filters to reveal a deeply human struggle.

A dark, gripping, and visually striking horror short. "Saint-Sacrifice" follows Antoine, a grieving widower who promised his wife love and faithfulness until death.

Pushed to the brink by his profound loss, he becomes willing to risk his very soul to be reunited with her on the other side. This haunting and masterfully crafted tale of macabre devotion is anchored by an incredible performance from Best Actor winner Luc Picard.

Picard brilliantly captures the raw pain and desperation of grief, making Antoine's dark descent deeply believable and profoundly tragic.

On a separate note, writer and director Jean-Claude Leblanc has firmly established himself as one of the best indie horror filmmakers working today. In a rare achievement at our partner festival, Top Shorts, Leblanc became one of the very few directors to win major annual awards with two different films.

He took home Best of Fest in 2017 for "Studded Nightmare" and Best Narrative Film in 2024 for "Saint-Sacrifice". We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate his continued success.

A thought-provoking sci-fi short film about identity, memory, and the true cost of isolation.

"Genre Inc." follows Alexa, a young woman who signs up for a program promising her dream life, but at a severe price: she must live entirely alone and loses her memories once the experience is over.

Intended as a visual manifesto for emotion, the film serves as a powerful reminder that healing is an inside job. Existing in a fabricated reality, Alexa's world is challenged when a man named Alex enters it, reminding her of the genuine human connection she has been missing.

Ela Gavrila achieves something truly remarkable by both directing the film and delivering an unforgettable lead performance. Crowned Actress of the Year, she is alone on screen for much of the story yet completely captivates the audience.

Gavrila gives a total, immersive performance as a deeply unhinged character, delivering brilliant and intense monologues. She perfectly balances the darkness of the narrative with a glowing ray of humanity, proving that it takes immense courage to find our true selves.
