✨ MIRAGE MOTEL ✨
It’s all in your imagination. 💫

I created Mirage Motel as a little reminder that reality is whatever we dare to dream up. That the things we imagine and the worlds we create can become our reality. 💜

More than anything, I wanted to create something that makes you smile every time you walk past it. And after having this one on my own wall, I can confidently say… mission accomplished. ✨

She’s bold, she’s sparkly, and she absolutely refuses to blend in. A true statement piece that can transform any space.

✨ ORIGINAL ARTWORK AVAILABLE — $1,500 ✨

24” × 24” | One of a kind, acrylic on canvas, individually hand-embellished with sparkling crystals.

💌 DM to purchase or inquire about shipping.

Reality can wait. 💖

This painting came from instinct more than intention.
I simply started painting and somewhere along the way, this piece took on a life of its own.

Looking at it now, I see a tiger that’s not hiding from the light—it’s stepping into it.
A reminder that sometimes the brightest parts of ourselves are waiting just beyond the place we’re afraid to step.

Keep following whatever calls you forward.
You never know what you’ll discover in the light. ✨

This painting will always be special to me because it was the first one I painted things as I imagined them—not bound by the rules of this world.

Looking back, I realize it quietly became a blueprint for so much of the work that came after it. Almost every theme I return to is hiding somewhere in this piece.

Most people notice the lion first.
But tucked beneath him, in the corner, is a face.

That face is mine.

I’ve always had a shy side.
The lion is a kind of mask—an expression of confidence, courage, and playfulness that helps me show up in the world a little bigger than I sometimes feel.
The lion is who I strive to be.

The Hollywood sign sits in the background, even though I wasn’t living in Hollywood when I painted this and had no plans to...
Somehow it found its way into the story before I did.

Above it, an alien pulls the “D” in a tractor beam—a small nod to BoJack Horseman and its famous “Hollywoo” sign, just because I love clever cartoons.

There are rockets, stars, ocean waves, upside-down rainbows, floating hearts, and a smiling four-eyed sun balloon watching over everything. Each thing represents something I’ve always been drawn to: nature, space, wonder, humor, mystery, freedom.

One of my favorite details is the trail of hearts falling from the broken balloon, drifting all the way down to the lion’s tongue.

I’ve always been drawn to the idea that reality isn’t as fixed as we think it is. The world can feel completely different depending on where you’re standing, what you’re carrying, and how willing you are to see beyond the obvious.

If you keep an open mind, you’ll start to notice there’s far more magic, absurdity, and possibility around us than we’re taught to believe.

This painting wasn’t created to tell a specific story. It was created from instinct. But years later, I can see pieces of myself hidden all throughout it.
In a way, this wasn’t just my first painting.

It was the beginning of my fever dream. taken in Los Angeles, California by @feverdreamsam
