💫Our next artist feature for Side Quests Vol. 2 is Track 5 - “What A Shame” by @feverestband 💫

“What a shame is sort of a good moment in a bad phase. Maybe things have been sort of toxic lately but everything is sort of idyllic and reflective on this car ride. Everything may collapse, but it isn’t going to be right now.
—
I sat down and wrote this song in a matter of a half hour or so. I typically mill around, and write bits and pieces of songs over a few weeks, so it’s a bit unusual that I write the finished product all in one go. We tracked this song ourselves, and that gave us a ton of freedom to really add some really heady, lush layers. We spent probably five or six hours just exploring what we could accomplish tonally. Then we put a ton of time into vocals, I wanted it to have this really luxurious choral effect during the choruses and recording that felt really special. “ - @feverestband
