“American Vitriol” was born from the contradiction of watching people preach “love thy neighbor” while accepting the cruelty toward the very people beside them. Somewhere along the way, empathy became weakness, outrage became entertainment, and human life became secondary to political loyalty. Inspired by the deaths of protesters like Alex Pretti and Renée Good, this song is about what happens when a country worships power more than compassion.

No protest, no act of compassion, no standing up for another person should cost someone their life. No matter how many halos they wear or white gloves they put on, they can’t hide the blood stains.

Never let them forget.
