Between the 18-27th of August I will be travelling across Europe organising my first multi country activism tour. I will be travelling to Dublin, Hamburg, Budapest and Glasgow—and we will be doing Fur Free, Cage Free, and Shrimp Welfare activism events as we go!

This is the biggest project I have ever taken on, was tricky to plan, and cost me quite a bit more than my usual projects—but I would have never become the activist I am without people coming into my city and showing me how to do it, seeing activists doing large projects that inspired me, or having the organises I respected ask me to do a project for them.

So I am trying to see if I can be that for other people.

Activists took over Sloane Street and protested outside each and every @lvmh store. We protested outside @dior @louisvuitton @fendi and @loropiana and discovered that all of these shops now lock their doors by default to avoid disruptions.

It must not feel so great to work in a luxury store so paranoid of protestors that they keep the doors locked.

The protests will continue till we get a fur free policy from LVMH.

On fur farms across Europe and around the world, millions of minks, foxes, and chinchillas are living in tiny wire cages waiting to be gassed or electrocuted for a fur trim.

Their suffering ends when fur ends. And fur ends when there is no one left willing to stand behind it.

New York banned fur from its runways after protests. London banned it. Milan is one of the last two major fashion weeks still allowing fur. It has already lost 5 sponsors due to pressure. And it is closer to falling than it has ever been. This is the next step to beat fur.

Activists thrown out of @porsche in Mayfair as they protest Porsche’s connection to @milanfashionweek and Fur Trade via their business contracts with @franciacorta

Milan is one of the only two major fashion weeks still allowing fur on their runway—and activists all over the world are involved in a global campaign to demand they stop.

The fur trade is abhorrent and evil. We will not stop protesting until there is no fur trade left.

Activists disrupt @louisvuitton and then protest the @lvmh shops on Bond Street London. Protesting and chalking outside of @dior @loropiana and @fendi to demand a fur free policy.

These protests are part of a long standing global campaign against LVMH and protests will continue until we get a fur free policy.

The this was our biggest and most complicated event so far—33 demos, in three different countries, attending, collaborating or organising—and it seems almost impossible to sum it up in three minutes.

With @caftusa in town for their Europe tour we decided to hop along and help with the fur stuff whilst packing out the rest of our schedule with @icaw_org and @defundtransphobes events!

After that we joined them in Milan for yet more fur protests against Milan Fashion Week before ending in Neckersulm to protest Lidl over their shrimp welfare commitments with @icaw_org

We even got in the @dailymailuk

Incredibly proud of the amount of activism we got done in such a short period of time and in the middle of a heatwave too!

With June out of the way we look towards the future. Already we have dates for actions in London, Dublin and are planning dates for Glasgow—you can find these dates in the reel but we will share them separately soon!

Our last protest at Apax Partners and their adjoining restaurant attached to their office building. Peanut allergies, anaphylactic shock, broken glasses, phone theft, wait staff assaulting you, and being carried out by staff—we decided to cancel our dinner plans and go somewhere else.

They did decide to drop their sponsorship of Milan Fashion Week however—I can’t imagine why.

Let’s spend time, chasing cars…

This was not the experience I had in mind when I agree to go to the days of actions against Milan Fashion Week in the heart of Italy.

I didn’t expect for fancy black cars with @milanfashionweek and @cameramoda plastered on the side of them to be a common sight driving around the city in an egregious display of their ostentatious status within Milan.

We quickly understood the assignment.

Find decision makers, show them posters of the animals they are responsible for being tortured to death, play the sound of their screams, and hound @carlocapasa for being the immoral, selfish, entitled bastard that he is.

Carlo was disrupted numerous times during the fashion week and many of his staff were equally disrupted because of his evil choices.

I am sure we’ll be back in Milan again soon, the protests will continue till we get a fur free policy.

We disrupted EcoOnline, a subsidiary of Apax Partners, during the @caftusa Feral Summer Tour and the police showed up before we left the building.

After calmly explaining we were there to speak to the building manager about one of their tenants—I was introduced to the building manager and we had a wonderful conversation about how they never wanted this to happen ever again.

We won the campaign about seven hours later.

This feels wrong to be posting at this time but it’s the post I most need to make and I am still working on the memorial posts to Alex. Please forgive me if this feels inappropriate.

This was supposed to be a reel. A compilation of violence and silly antics we get up to on our usual festivities down in London doing activism but that would be very inappropriate. This was a post I was really excited to make, a grand invitation for our friends from all over Europe to descend on London and join us for four days of protests and disruptions.

It still is but with a sombre overtone.

We are going to be collaborating with ICAW on a London mini-convergence from Thursday the 16th to Monday the 20th.

Due to the recent loss of Alexandraa we will be using Sunday the 19th of July to hold a memorial to her. The exact location and time of this memorial will be announced in another post and we believe that it will be very well attended by members of our community far and wide who will want to come and remember Alex and be with their community at this hard time.

Anyone is welcome to come to this, whether they knew Alexandraa or not, whether they are trans or not.

As usual the rest of the convergence will be some combination of Fur, Cage Free, Trans, and also potentially Shrimp and maybe even a Climate demo. I am unfortunately a little behind with organising the schedule and it is a little harder due to having recently won a number of campaigns and also it being over a weekend.

We currently have two Europeans signed up, and potentially two more that have expressed interest, but we would be eager to have some more if they wish to come and join us. There is still some accommodation free for those that wish to join us and we are going to be doing communal cooking.

One of my last memories I have of Alex is of her gleefully running from Marriott to Marriott with us at our May convergence and playing the drum like a pro. She was having so much fun she didn’t want to leave—she stayed till way later than she had intended.
