Happy 40th birthday to me!!!!!!!
I am so thankful for 40 years of living. God has been so good to me. It hasn’t been easy, but God has been so faithful and he’s a restorer. When I tell you I have the best village and the best family anyone could ask for. My heart is so full and I am so thankful God has allowed me to bring in my fortieth in the South of France. Thank you to you ALL who spent my special day with me and for the support. Thanks you to you all who also sent in personal video messages presented to me at my birthday celebration. I am forever grateful. Onto my next chapter. #fortyshadesoffawn #blessed #resilient #aquariusseason #blackgirlstraveltoo #southoffrance #selflove #grateful #overjoyed #itsmyseason 1/21 🎉 by @fholm680

The ribbon cutting of Ernest L. Webster Montessori School. We had a sneak peek before it opens to the public. It’s still feels so surreal….a long time coming. We love you grandpop ❤️#mrkingswood #legacy #grateful #iconic #communityactivist by @fholm680

Always shining ☀️ by @fholm680

In 2002, we all met at Winston-Salem State University.

None of us knew then that we were meeting lifelong friends.

23 years later, we’ve built careers, families, businesses, and lives in different states. Our zip codes have changed…but our sisterhood hasn’t.

So every year the last week of June, no matter where life has taken us, we choose each other.

This year’s destination? Anguilla.

A beautiful villa.
Ocean views.
Endless laughs.
Memories we’ll be talking about until next year’s trip.

And just when we thought the weekend couldn’t get any better…we looked up and saw a WSSU Rams flag waving in the Caribbean.

Out of all the islands…
Out of all the restaurants…
There was a little piece of the place that brought us together. Some things are just meant to be.

Here’s to 23 years of friendship…
and many more passport stamps together.

The Notorious 9. Forever Rams. Forever Sisters. ❤️🐏

Thank you @dr.mutawally for all of your assistance planning this trip 😘
