From the stands to the sidelines, TX-30 showed out! HBCU bands bringing the heat, Divine 9 legacy on full display, and a community that knows how to celebrate itself. This is who we are.

That same pride, that same unity, that’s the energy we need to carry all the way to November!! The same way we showed up to party, we need to show up at the polls.

Early Voting Starts Oct 19th - Oct 30th!!
Make your voices heard November 3rd!!

Grateful to stand with the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and be in community with people committed to service, leadership, and moving our communities forward.

Our history reminds us that progress has never happened by accident. It happens when we show up, speak up, serve, and make sure the voices too often left outside are heard.

Yesterday was EVERYTHING. 🏈🎺

There’s something sacred about a stadium full of HBCU pride, Divine 9 legacy and generations of community showing up for each other. State Fair Classic energy hit different, and it reminded me exactly why we fight for this community.

When we come together like that loud, proud, unified ain’t nothing we can’t do. That same spirit that filled the stands? That’s the spirit we need at the ballot box this November.

Your vote is your voice. Show up for us like we showed up yesterday.

JUSTICE FOR CRYSTAL MASON: VICTORY PRESS CONFERENCE

After more than eight years of fighting through the courts, Crystal Mason’s acquittal stands. This historic victory represents years of perseverance by Crystal and her family and the continued work of the Next Generation Action Network Legal Advocacy Fund, ACLU of Texas, Texas Civil Rights Project, attorneys, advocates, and supporters who refused to give up.

We invite community leaders, elected officials, candidates, clergy, civil rights organizations, advocates, members of the media, and the entire community to stand with Crystal and her attorneys as we recognize this historic victory.

Monday, September 28 | 11:00 AM
Old Tarrant County Courthouse
100 W. Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, TX 76196

Eight years of fighting. We never gave up. Justice prevailed.

A full week in D.C. beginning with Justice Democrats and closing out with Congressional Black Caucus week.

So many meaningful conversations, familiar faces, new connections, and moments that reminded me why this work matters. The camera roll only captured some of it, but I’m grateful for every conversation, every connection, and every opportunity to keep building toward justice for all. by @fhunscripted
