GRWM to read threshing day!!!

My copy finally arrived on Friday… so naturally, I finished it by Sunday 😍📖

@rebeccayarros, this book is BEAUTIFUL. 🥹✨

The Easter eggs! 🥚✨
The dragons! 🐉
The little details that had me screaming!

It is EVERYTHING. I’m already ready to go back in and reread it because I know I missed things! 😭❤️

THRESHING DAY ⚔️🔥

Still waiting for my turn across the parapet… because apparently my order has decided I need to be the one doing the waiting 😩😂

Everyone else: crossing the parapet.
Me: 📦👀📦👀📦

Manifesting that my book arrives before the dragons start wondering where I am. 🐉

✨📚 A little introduction… 📚✨

Hi! I’m Gem 👋🏻 and I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself!

I’m a 37 year old book lover from Hampshire, UK 🇬🇧 and when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me curled up with my Kobo, adding far too many books to my ever growing TBR, or talking about fictional characters as though they’re real people 😂

📚 My favourite genres include romantasy, romance and contemporary fiction, although I’m always open to being convinced to try something new!

✨ A few things about me:

🤍 I’m married to my husband, James

📖 I’m a proud book addict with absolutely no intention of reducing my TBR

🥤 I love a cosy reading moment, preferably with a Coke Zero!

🏔️ I love travelling and beautiful scenery

📚 I could happily spend hours wandering around a bookshop

I created this little corner of Instagram to share the books I’m reading, the ones I’m obsessing over, and hopefully discover lots of new recommendations along the way!

So, if you’re here because you also love getting lost in fictional worlds, becoming emotionally attached to characters who don’t exist, and buying books faster than you can read them, you’re definitely in the right place 😂🫶🏻

Tell me something about yourself and, most importantly, what’s one book you’d recommend to absolutely everyone? 👇🏻📚✨

✨ Current read, cosy corners & bookshop magic ✨

I finally read Off Campus: The Deal and I can see why everyone loves it. I read both The Deal and The Mistake in 24 hours whoops 💛 There really is nothing better than reading in the garden with the sun shining, a cup of tea in my Bookworm mug, and a romance book waiting to sweep me away.

And of course, no reading session is complete without my bookworm mug from @badgirlbooksuk .

What’s everyone reading at the moment?👀

What a day! 📚✨ Started with a visit to @badgirlbooksuk in Oxford and wow, the most beautiful editions! 😍

I treated myself to some gorgeous bookish merch, including a lush green tote bag and the cutest bookworm mug 💚📖 And because I got there third, I was lucky enough to grab one of their canvas goodie bags too! 🥹

Feeling very spoilt and very bookish! 📚✨

TK Maxx always has the prettiest books… but I’m currently bookcase-less, so all I can do is window shop. 🥲

My TBR definitely doesn’t need any more additions… but my heart disagrees. 💔

Just me, my bowl of tea, and my weekend read 📚☕️

I’m at my parents in law’s on the South Coast, and it’s honestly my favourite place. So peaceful, so relaxing, and the perfect spot to get lost in a good book. 🤍

Dire Bound: ✅
Fury Bound: In progress!

Can we just take a moment for these book covers?! ❤️

Absolutely stunning. I’m currently making my way through Fury Bound and loving being back in this world.

There’s something so satisfying about ticking off one book and diving straight into the next!
