An actual dream come true... 🎭 infinite thanks to @ada115 for championing this book to @maris_dyer at @aaknopf - storied home of so many Greats- plus @annrachelbissell at @boroughpress. And to my fav boys for dragging my hermit ass out to celebrate being a "real" writer with tacos and bone shots. I wrote this weird funny monster of a book on trains and planes and in bed but mostly on my shitty couch, in pajamas, high on coffee and nicotine, over the span of two long years, between fits of loneliness and uncertainty and grief and hope. And now it will meet the world. Let the games begin. by @fictionalnatalie

Pt 2 summer reads: spent a month in Paris, only read 3 books, Carrere was addictive, In Cold Blood was slower than i remembered, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Dangerous Liaisons is dangerously underrated (?!), and I always buy a book written in the language of the place i'm visiting but couldn't decide between Camus and Duras so I got both; bye, summer by @fictionalnatalie

My book (!) comes out in a year. It was written on many tables and many beds and a couple couches. One editor says it's "like The Secret History went on a weed-and-Doritos-fueled all-nighter cramming for an exam on Greek tragedy." I think the exam would be on the legacy of MBDTF but you'll have to read and decide yourself. PS sweet chili Doritos ?? Allow me to evangelize you bitches by @fictionalnatalie

Finished the MFA, in my feels about it, and have been hermiting so hard that I've hardly taken any pics all spring- so here's a random assortment of things over the past four months that helped me finish a novel by @fictionalnatalie
