An Engaging Fantasy Adventure About Courage and Destiny

Super VIN by Mahesh Iyer is an intriguing fantasy adventure that takes readers into a world filled with danger, mystery, and unexpected discoveries. What caught my attention about the story is its central character, VIN, a young boy from the mountain village of Mist, who finds himself facing a situation far bigger than he could have imagined.

When soldiers in black capes attack his village, VIN chooses to stand up for his people, even when it puts his own life at risk. His encounter with a mysterious power after being thrown off a cliff becomes a turning point in his journey. I found this premise interesting because it brings together the excitement of a fantasy adventure with the emotional journey of a young boy discovering his own strength.

One thing I appreciate about stories like this is the reminder that being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t afraid. Sometimes, courage is simply choosing to do what is right despite the fear. VIN’s journey seems to capture this idea beautifully, while the growing threat to his village adds a sense of suspense and makes you curious about what lies ahead.

Mahesh Iyer builds the story around themes of courage, faith, responsibility, and protecting the people we love. The setting also adds to the adventurous feel, making it appealing to readers who enjoy imaginative worlds and young heroes.

Overall, Super VIN is a promising read for anyone who enjoys fantasy, adventure, and stories about finding strength in unexpected circumstances. It’s a story that reminds us that even the smallest person can make a difference when they have the courage to stand up for what they believe in. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

A Compromised Self by @author_priyansh_jain is one of those books that makes you stop and think about yourself in a way you might not expect. While reading it, I found myself relating to quite a few of the ideas and, at times, questioning some of my own choices, beliefs and the little compromises we make in everyday life without even realising it.

What I liked most about the book is that it doesn’t feel like someone is constantly telling you what you should or shouldn’t do. Instead, it makes you think. It talks about how we shape ourselves based on our surroundings, experiences, expectations and the people around us, and how easy it can be to lose touch with what we actually want.

There were parts where I had to pause and think about them instead of just moving on to the next page. I especially liked how the book connects deeper philosophical ideas with things we experience in our normal lives. It makes the concepts feel more relatable rather than overly complicated.

The writing is simple and easy to follow, which I really appreciated. At the same time, I wouldn’t say this is a book you should rush through. I think it works better when you read a few pages, sit with the thought and then move ahead.

Overall, A Compromised Self felt like a conversation with yourself. It doesn’t promise to magically change your life, but it does make you question certain things—and I think that’s what makes the book worth reading.

A thoughtful read if you enjoy books that leave you thinking even after you’ve finished them. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

Human Lantern: The Torch Bearer is a thoughtful read that makes you pause for a moment and reflect on yourself, your choices, and the way you look at life.

What I found interesting about the book is its central message about protecting your inner light. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our daily lives, other people’s expectations, and the negativity around us that we forget to focus on ourselves. We spend so much time trying to make things work for everyone else that our own peace and happiness take a backseat. This is something I feel many of us can relate to.

I liked the idea of looking at personal growth as a journey rather than something that happens overnight. We all go through difficult phases, make mistakes, and sometimes lose confidence in ourselves. But what matters is how we learn from those experiences and move forward. The book encourages readers to become more aware of their thoughts, understand their own worth, and make choices that align with who they truly want to be.

Another thing I appreciate is the reminder that we cannot control everything around us, but we can work on how we respond to situations. Learning to set boundaries, protect our peace, and stay true to ourselves is important, even though it isn’t always easy.

Overall, I think Human Lantern: The Torch Bearer is worth exploring if you enjoy books that encourage self-reflection and personal development. It leaves you thinking about the little changes you can make in your own life and reminds you that sometimes, the light you are searching for outside is something you need to nurture within yourself. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

Anshuman and Whodunit This Time: The Ghost Had an Alibi was a short, sorted, and engaging mystery read. I really enjoyed how quickly the story picked up and managed to keep me interested throughout. There was no unnecessary dragging, and the pace made it really easy to stay invested in the mystery.

The mystery itself was intriguing, and I kept wanting to know what was actually happening and how everything would unfold. I liked how the story kept giving enough to make me curious without making it feel overly complicated. It has that quick, easy-to-follow quality that makes you want to keep turning the pages.

What I enjoyed the most was the pacing. The book felt concise and well-structured, and I ended up completing it in one sitting. It’s always nice to pick up a mystery that doesn’t require too much time but still manages to keep you engaged till the end.

Overall, this was a fun and entertaining whodunit. I liked the simplicity of the storytelling and the way the mystery kept me curious. If you’re looking for a short, light, and engaging mystery that you can finish in one sitting, this could be a good pick. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

An Interesting and Thought-Provoking Read

The Eternal Sanctuary: The Final Call is an interesting book that brings together mystery, spirituality, and supernatural elements. What I liked most was that the book is not just about the story—it also makes you think about life, faith, truth, and the things we may not always understand.

The mystery keeps you curious as you move forward, while the spiritual side of the book adds something different to the reading experience. I also liked how the author explores deeper questions about human existence and destiny without making the book feel like a typical thriller.

The book has a different kind of atmosphere, and I think readers who enjoy stories with mystery, spirituality, and deeper meanings will especially enjoy it.

Overall, The Eternal Sanctuary was an intriguing read with an unusual concept. It made me stop and think about some of the ideas presented in the book, which is always something I appreciate in a story. A good choice for readers looking for something different from the usual mystery or supernatural reads. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

No Right Decision by @storyarkbysiddharth was a really engaging murder mystery. I liked how the storyline keeps you curious and makes you question every suspect as you move forward.

What I enjoyed the most was the concept of having seven suspects and having to figure out the murderer yourself. The book doesn’t simply hand you the answer—you have to connect the clues and form your own theories, which made the reading experience much more fun.

The storyline is gripping and keeps you invested till the end. I found myself constantly trying to guess who the murderer could be, and that kept me turning the pages.

Overall, a fast-paced and entertaining mystery that I would definitely recommend to readers who enjoy crime and murder mysteries. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

The Girl in Chains by @devashishsardana is a gripping thriller that kept me invested till the very end. I really enjoyed the suspense and the way the author slowly builds tension without making the story feel unnecessarily complicated.

The writing is fast-paced and engaging, and the twists kept me second-guessing my theories. I especially liked how the different layers of the mystery come together as the story progresses.

Simone Singh is another highlight for me. She feels like a well-developed protagonist, and her character adds depth to what is already an intriguing investigation.

Overall, this was an entertaining and immersive read. If you enjoy crime thrillers with mystery, suspense, conspiracies and unexpected turns, The Girl in Chains is definitely worth picking up. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

7 Lies Before Suicide by @authorhimanshu turned out to be a surprisingly engaging read. What I enjoyed most was the way the author explored the impact of social media on people, their choices, relationships, and the way they perceive themselves and others. It felt like a relevant theme woven naturally into the story rather than something simply added for effect.

The suspense was another aspect I really enjoyed. The storyline kept me curious about what would happen next, and there were enough twists and questions to keep me invested throughout. I found myself getting more and more engrossed as I progressed, to the point that I ended up finishing the entire book in one sitting!

Overall, it was a fast-paced and thought-provoking read with an interesting storyline, a good dose of suspense, and a theme that makes you reflect on how much influence social media can have on our lives. Definitely a book that kept me turning the pages. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous

A story about love, timing, and the choices life makes for us

The Arid Lips by @aarjay__s is a deeply emotional story about a love that refuses to disappear, even when life forces two people to walk in different directions.

What I appreciated most about this book is that it doesn’t portray love as something simple or idealistic. Aarjay and Mihika fall deeply in love, but circumstances, family responsibilities, societal expectations, and difficult choices pull them apart. Years pass, and both build separate lives, become spouses and parents, and fulfil the responsibilities they have chosen. Yet some emotions remain buried rather than truly forgotten.

The story beautifully explores that complicated space between love and duty. It made me think about whether choosing responsibility means we stop loving someone, or whether certain feelings simply become a part of who we are.

I especially enjoyed the emotional depth of the characters and the way the past slowly finds its way back into their present. The writing has a lyrical, reflective quality that suits the story perfectly.

This is not just a romance; it is a story about memory, sacrifice, longing, choices, and the love stories that never get the ending we imagined.

A thoughtful and bittersweet read that stays with you even after the last page. taken in Delhi by @fictitious.nonfictitous
