“Shooting Star 2 (Emerald)”

👓🌟 “So, what kind of shooting star should I steal for you next?”

Medium: watercolors from @mrbwatercolors on cold-pressed paper

This time, I tried painting an emerald 💚✨
Everything (except Fiddoll, and a little white colored pencil for some details) was painted using only @mrbwatercolor paints🌟
For the base of the emerald, I used their non-metallic Phthalo Green and Brick Red.
I noticed something interesting when I looked at the water in my brush-rinsing cup. Can you see how the Brick Red pigment has settled at the bottom, while the Phthalo Green pigment is floating on the surface in little dots?
I wonder if this is due to the difference in the pigments themselves. It was the first time I really noticed the difference in pigment behavior like this, and I found it fascinating! 👀✨

I was actually a little bothered by how chunky the fork looked. 🍴😅
