“Peace is not an option. It is the only way forward.”

This Saturday, I’ll be part of F*CK WAR, a collective exhibition at Fondazione Cominelli - Brescia.

I’ll be presenting my Rainbow Apple Care — a symbol of destruction transformed into a message of diversity, hope and peace.

Because on a planet increasingly shaped by horrid conflict, peace is no longer just an ideal. It’s a matter of survival.

28 artists. We ARE, together. And only together, we CAN everything.

I went to @cordellafashionschool for a one day talk.
The car had other plans — I ended up staying two weeks. 😅

BRAIN DRAIN, sold

Nowadays it feels like everyone’s brain is melting out.
Exhausted, overstimulated, overloaded — and still showing up. That’s the feeling behind this piece.

White and gold, as an homage to Phidias (Fidias) — the ancient Greek my parents naming after Ive been named after, sculptor who worked with ivory and gold to create pieces of divine purity. Has it ever happened to you to be pissed because of love? 💔

But look closer — there’s an angel sitting right on top of it.

For me, staying angry never leads anywhere. So even in the moment you want to say fuck you, there’s still a part of you that believes love is real. That’s what this piece is about.

Rest in dots, Yayoi. ❤️🙏🏻

Back in 2014, for my solo show POP-PANTIES at Graphos Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro, I portrayed some of the artists who shaped my journey into Pop — imagining them as babies.

Yayoi was one of them.

Today this work feels different. It takes me back to that show, and to Ricardo Luiz Duarte de Souza, the gallerist who believed in it and who we tragically lost during Covid. 🙏🏻

Time passes. People sadly leave, but art stays.

Thank you, Yayoi, for showing us that an entire universe could exist inside a dot. You’ve earned your place in eternity.

Forever infinite. ♾️
