15 seconds from 2023 🍭

This year I went to New York, feared AI, got engaged, didn’t get that dream job, won awards, cried on planes, went to Milan by train, went for other things I really want, failed, talked on stage, made two reels and paid my bills (with 100% freelance work)⚡️

Oh hey, look! 👀 Community Couture made it to @vanabbemuseum !

We were part of ‘The space between us’, an interactive exhibition where visitors could not only see all of the @community_couture collections, but also — the fun part — try them on 👒

So cool to see our work next to the likes of El Lissitzky, Enzo Mari, Gerrit Rietveld and all the other artists 👩🏻‍🎨

Huge personal thanks goes to the mastermind behind all this, @aniela_fidler_wieruszewska who invited me to collaborate on the Dutch Design Week edition 3 years ago, it was an amazing (and slightly overwhelming) experience 🙌

The exhibition includes all CC pieces created over the years, done by a wide collective of people and lead by @aniela_fidler_wieruszewska @meghachauhanm @snootiestudios @ikurikala and more…

Together with @aniela_fidler_wieruszewska, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that our 'Baltic 2050: Clean like Baltic' campaign has won the prestigious Sliver Sword at the KTR 2023 Competition: the Polish Creativity & Advertising Awards! ⚔️

The awarded project was aimed at making a positive impact and spreading awareness about the future of our beloved Baltic region 🦭🦭

A small website refresh is now live✨

I still will be tweaking it, expanding case studies and maybe even get back to writing a blog, but I hope this gives you a better overview of the work I’ve been doing recently(ish) 👀

The past 3 years have been a mix of projects done from a personal need (like @33_letters_for_ukraine) or designed for festivals (such as @dutchdesignweek and @gdyniadesigndays) and the usual commercial work.

Now I’m manifesting somehow combining these two work personalities into one🤞

And last but not least, a closer look at the unique location of our exhibition ‚Clean as Baltic’ 🐟

We wanted to go beyond the typical festival audience and make the exhibition open and accessible to a diverse range of visitors, so we rented one of the empty market stalls in the city market hall and turned it into our temporary pop-up store ✨

Now (sadly) past its prime, Miejskie Hale Targowe were apparently so popular in the 90’s, that you could buy a small apartment for the price of one of the stalls.

These days, you can mainly buy your fruits and veggies there, and curiously — detergents from Germany (for some reason a big hit in Poland).

Anyways, sounds like a perfect fit for our imaginary washing powder, don’t you think? 😅

Our intuition paid off and we were happy to greet different visitors and make friends with the fellow vendors, some of which spent their whole lives there ✌️

The project is now nominated in Polish advertising awards @ktr__klub__tworcow__reklamy (we can’t wait for next Monday!) and will be exhibited at @idkielce from next Thursday on! 🌊🌊🌊
