Ball flight doesn’t lie — in kicking or golf
I talk ball. Both kinds.

Don’t trust the untrained eye and trust me! If he made contact with that ball it was either a closed face heel strike into his left tackle or a super cutty shot that’s spinny and short. There was no good outcome once that ball moved.

Can’t believe everything you see or hear. Good luck @kooyounghoe on upcoming workouts I have no doubt you’ll be on a team before crunch time

Day 1 of teaching anyone how to kick a field goal. Ball placement! These will get progressively more advanced as I go.

If you are broke and have a dream like I did, if you’re a committed parent who wants to see their kid succeed, or if you want it more than the next guy, I will show you everything you need.

I care about your success, go make it happen.

Reaction to first FG of the day not the game winner. To be clear if cam didn’t commit to his target line and his hips started to close thru impact this was probably a devastating pull. Great operation all night including the fill in holder. It’s impressive stuff.

All exaggerated movements to hit the point home. You need a back sturdy leg to push off of. You can be loaded In the back and still have weight forward. Similar to when the head drops in golf, gotta make it back up.

If you don’t wanna hear it from your parents, you’ll definitely not want to hear it from the school you really want to go to.

I was the nicest kid; yes sir, no sir, please, and thank you. IT DOESNT MATTER. Real money invested into your future comes with real expectations. Don’t let yourself down.

DISCLAIMER: purely a schmuck only if you’re trying to go d1. I still went to a great college and have a great career. But you won’t go D1. This shouldn’t bring you down if you’re in my spot but propel you to do better. A 2.7 is honorable if you’re trying your hardest but only you know that truth. I definitely wasn’t trying my hardest.

I don’t make the rules but quite literally the most important (for now) camp to go to as a free agent cost $1200 for 10 footballs.

Take your college classes seriously so you can get started in your career immediately, you will need the money. God bless my agent for paying for my first camp.
2k is minimum in my opinion it’s more like 3-4k flights included.

HIGHSCHOOLERS: How was this kick bad if I followed through downfield? Because everything leading up the kick was garbage. With enough athletic capacity, the proper kick should bring you downfield whether you like it or not. Look upstream in your form for real gains and you will find yourself upfield. Definitely finish the swing and mash the ball, but most of yall are so cooked by the time you get to impact it doesn’t matter.

Proper training > outcomes

This is probably a hot take in the kicking community but genuinely; if you can hit a bad ball, and have a good follow thru, why is the swing thought to follow through down field? I could think of 7,000 other swing thoughts that are important before getting downfield. Do yall really think after half way through transition an NFL guy thinks about finishing up field?

If you are a good athlete and kick a football with 95% effort and at impact you’re standing tall, do you really think you have a say in where your body goes? It’s going up field no matter what.
Unless you are d1 or above, there isn’t any talent scouts watching your follow through.

Focus on other stuff #kicking #film #golf by @fieldgoals2fairways

Forgot to add this to the 1st. It’s never black and white, gotta try new things and match up your athletic capacity to your kick. Be real, if you aren’t athletic, slow legged, you may need to take a slower approach for your legs to catch up.

There are about 25 follow up videos to the 2nd step that need to happen but moral of the story is timing is everything. Short step, need forward momentum from your jab, which then gives you less control at impact, and various other issues.

Part 2: if your d1 or above you are already doing a form of this and if you’re not please do your spines depending on it.

Breath work is everything again if you can’t breathe you don’t own the space you are existing in. If you are a trainer please comment, agree, correct, or chime in. Keep it simple, keep it consistent, and play a lot.

If you are d1 or above you’re already doing a variation of this, and if you aren’t well god bless your health. Breathing is the major key here, if you can’t take a full breath thru the hardest points of a movement, you don’t own the space.
