Denver! I am super excited to announce that I will be making my debut at @theblackbox5280 alongside my good friend @____villem and with local support from @fieldnotes.us

I’ve got tons of new music on the horizon, so I’ll be bringing plenty of fresh tunes, plus a couple of new collabs that Villem and I have been cooking up in the studio!

This is going to be a special one, and definitely a show you don’t want to miss! 🔥 taken in The Black Box by @fieldnotes.us

did big things wit the crew 💜

i’m no stranger to jumping between rooms and stages to hear bits of multiple sets in a night. but when the people at those stages all happen to be the homies, it’s really a moment to sit back and take in how fucking talented and cool the people around you really are.

+ getting the chance to broaden my own sound and have the homies there to hear it :,) man.
it was an amazing opportunity so thanks to everyone who made it out, and to everyone i got to meet 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼

special thanks to:

@theblackbox5280
@dubdenrecords
@incubator.denver

and big love to @gyakusetsu for capturing the whole night 📸🩶

i got to meet so many new friends, some of my favorite artists in the world, got to experience so many new places. and i got to do it all with my best friend 🥲 i’m lucky beyond words man.
cheers to my liquicity and let it roll family ❤️❤️

new mix for ur listening pleasure 🙂‍↔️ out rn

story time:
i got to see the tunnels that run under my job a few weeks ago and the feeling i got down there really stuck with me. well that’s because they’re haunted. 🫪 so i took this creepy picture and i let that feeling inspire me to put together a mix that felt like moving through them. a sound that really cemented my love for underground drum and bass. get it, cause it’s under.. u get it.

i’ve had a ton of fun playing these songs out this month so here’s the full mix as my gift to u. filled with tracks from artists that i admire deeply. who execute the sound perfectly. dark, fast, heavy, and a little spooky. just the way i like it. enjoy 🫶🏻

thank you @dubdenrecords ❤️ by @fieldnotes.us

Artist Spotlight: Born and raised in Denver, Lilyana Jackson, aka @lunexa.music, is a fresh face to the underground scene. Pushing the sounds of drum and bass that have been the most influential to her, ranging from melodic liquid to deep minimal, rollers, and breaks.
Deriving inspiration from some of her favorite artists: En:vy, Kasra, Adzzy, and Particle, she specializes in blending a sound designed to keep you moving.
In just a year, she’s made a name for herself opening for Blossom at Cervantes’ Otherside, playing at the Black Box for Dub Den Records, working with Drum and Bass Proper at Milk Bar for their weekly Community DNB Thursdays, and partnering with Incubator and the Burnout Collective on an incredible 3-stage warehouse project to close out 2025.

We are very excited for Lunexa’s set this Thursday for our takeover in the Lounge at @theblackbox5280. This is a FREE event with RSVP. Use code “MATRIARCH” to claim your spot. We will also be hosting a preshow workshop and discussion about curating engaging DJ sets. Link in bio 🔗💜🔊 by @fieldnotes.us
