SUMATERA! I didn’t know I loved Indonesian food. This was my second visit and I brought my mom for her birthday and her first time trying Indonesian. She’s the reason I love exploring different flavors so gotta bring the OG to my new find. The Salad Daun Teh Hijau (Green Tea Salad) and Es Teler (Jelly Desert) in the first and last photos were our favorites! Birthday Dinner at Szechuan Mountain House in Flushing we had Spicy Prawns (my favorite), Sautéed Chinese Long Beans with Eggplant, Swing Pork Belly, Szechuan Pickles, Pepper Salted Duck and Seafood Hot and Sour Soup.
