QUICK STORY: I have known @racheltoups since HS. She lived in Japan and I lived In S. Korea, but we connected during either Far East Drama or Choir, Far East was a division that brought students from DoD schools from around the region to compete in different activities (athletics, the Arts etc.). I’m probably using the wrong terminology/descriptors. It’s been a while 🫩

Anyway…the last time she and I had seen each other was my senior year during Far East Choir, I believe and the last time we were in touch was a little less than a year later via MYSPACE. Due to technical issues, I lost use of Myspace early, life happened and I couldn’t remember her last name, so years went by of me not having any way of contacting her despite wanting to reconnect.

Thirteen Years Later (2019), I’m living in South Central and pumping gas down the block from my apartment at a gas station I never go to. I get in my car and I am pulling off when, in my rearview, I notice the woman at the pump that was right behind mine looks an awful lot like Rachel. I can’t believe my eyes, so I nearly let her drive away before I say “screw it” hop out the car and approach her window. I know I looked like a weirdo at this point but that’s ok because fortunately, she recognized me right after I mentioned Japan and Far East. I was elated to have run into this woman again after all these years purely by chance. After reconnecting, I was fortunate enough to catch one of her very intimate live performances and that’s where I captured this footage.

Now, I’ve experienced a lot of amazing moments in my life but many of them still don’t match how crazy this one was for me. Rachel is a truly special person and a unique voice worth investing in and to this day, her music is a source of comfort for me. I’ll look forward to the day that I can listen to her perform in person again. Check her out when you have a chance. Her music is from another world… This one is titled “Foxes” from her album “Sundog”

Well, it’s been a year and my accounts are still here after my reset. (Knock on wood) As I move forward with a significant amount of intention this go round, I want to show a little appreciation for my friends and family that are here and showing love. I think I’ve finally decided that I will use social media as the promotional tool it’s meant to be to work towards my film career and every little bit of love I receive helps. Here’s to a new year/outlook on social media. #fyp #virals #instagram #instagood #startingover taken in Atlanta, GA by @fieldsofgoldproductions

More of @molliejay in a couple of stills from our last (hopefully only latest) music video for her song “VIOLENCE”. I love pretty much any song she puts out but this one is easily one of my favorites.

So…until I can confidently create a new page exclusively for my indie film content, I figured I’d just show clips here and on @fieldsofgoldproductions For those who don’t know, this is the teaser for my latest feature “Aimless” that is currently the festival circuit. With my next feature in the works, I think it’s important to make sure this one gets as much exposure as possible mostly due to its relevance to today’s world. For those who want to watch, let me know and I will gladly you send you a link. It can be found on Vimeo!

Thing about rebuilding my social media platforms is that my content that does remain has been scattered to the wind. I couldn’t find this gem for a previous post before so here’s a delayed one.
