We’ve received a v v v exclusive invitation. @pepperslit only invites 35 people into her living room each night. We’d hate for her to be lonely, so we’re going on a Field Trip! We’re told she has quite the evening prepared for us. After all, no one believes in Pepper Slit quite as much as Pepper Slit. A once-famous legend of stage-and-screen (as she will not miss a chance to remind you), Pepper is hosting a theatrical fever dream of songs, stories, and nostalgia. (Nostalgia for what? We took a Field Trip to The Rocky Horror Show Tuesday night; loved getting to see the singular Sherie Rene Scott. And it was a terrific turnout despite yet another day of New York weather behaving like it, too, was in the cast. If you want more theater friends to see shows with, come on a Field Trip sometime! This was our 26th one. 🤯 Next up, we’re headed to Shifters at Cherry Lane Theater. (Cannot wait! I haven’t been since the renovation.) by @fieldtrip_nyc

We’re going on a Field Trip! I’ve been a @cat_cohen fan for years. I’ve seen her at Joe’s Pub, religiously listen to the pod, and her album has been on repeat for a long time. Blame it on the moon I guess. Soooo I’m *especially* excited that we’re taking a Field Trip group to see @catcohenbroadstrokes Off-Broadway. Can’t wait to experience it together! by @fieldtrip_nyc

Despite the cards being stacked against us (above-the-title cast change! thunderstorm! sky on fire! cyclospora!), we had such a fun Field Trip last night to to see Oh, Mary! with Hannah Solow in as Mary.If you’re looking for theater friends to see Broadway and Off-Broadway shows with, join us for a Field Trip sometime! We’re going on a Field Trip! Next week, we’re headed to @atlantictheater to see The Saviors. Earlier this year, we saw Well, I’ll Let You Go (also written by @bubbaweiler and directed by @jackserio) and it was definitely one of our favorite shows of the season. So excited to see what this creative team has in store for us again! by @fieldtrip_nyc

This past Sunday, we went on a Field Trip to the Guggenheim. We see a lot of theater (obviously 😄), but I love getting to dabble in other corners of NYC’s arts & culture scene too.Getting to have a private guide explain the history and significance of the Guggenheim’s architecture made the building feel completely different. You notice so many details you’d never catch on your own!Afterward, we wandered over to @bocadocafenyc for drinks and snacks, where they took great care of our group while we decompressed, compared notes, and inevitably started talking about what our next Field Trip should be.One of my favorite things about this little community is that every outing teaches you something new, even if it’s just a different way to look at a building you’ve seen a hundred times. by @fieldtrip_nyc

We’re going on a Field Trip! We’ll be diving into the history of Park Slope with a guided walk by @urban.origins.nyc, covering a Revolutionary War battlefield through to the neighborhood’s brownstone glow-up. It’s a chance to actually look up and dive into the city we live in, instead of walking through it with our AirPods in. by @fieldtrip_nyc
