It started with the World Cup.

We made a commitment to get out and watch the matches together. Tuesday afternoons filled with cheering (and occasionally heckling), controversial calls, strangers high-fiving strangers, and everyone living in the same moment.

Somewhere along the way, we realized something.
We’d finally shaken off the last little pieces of our “COVID stay-at-home syndrome.”

And we wanted more.
More nights out. More shared experiences. More reasons to celebrate. More supporting the neighborhood bars and restaurants that bring people together every day.

So we pulled out the calendar and started giving ourselves an excuse every month to get together.
This Saturday is National Girlfriend’s Day, and we’d love for you to join us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Fierce & Kind Tasting at @sevengrandsd, hosted by the amazing @_marty.tommy_ . We sold out and then squeezed in a few more!!

Fred’s Liquor on Valencia St in The Mission checks all the right boxes do a corner liquor store - great selection at great prices with a wealth of neighborhood lore behind the counter.

Finally, we’re happy to be stocked up on the shelves of some outlying @totalwine stores and looking forward to meeting more of the staff and customers in Pleasanton and Roseville.

Our latest batch of Straight Bourbon Whiskey has been released. It’s now 4 years, six months old, and we love the way it is aging. The depth of caramel notes, the clean spicy warm finish, and the trademark Fierce & Kind smooth and approachable pour are even better than ever.

Because we use non-GMO, pesticide-free grains that are sourced from the farm on the distillery in North Carolina, and from family farms around the distillery, and we pull from only the heart of the distillate, we have no need for additives. Each batch will always have its own subtly unique notes - and that’s how we like it. We choose nature over flavor profiling.

So if you haven’t tasted in awhile, we highly recommend giving this beauty a try.
