Three incomes turned into two, then into one, then into zero. Our lives were flipped upside down. We thought we were going on an upward trajectory and it turned into a downward spiral. In truth, there were a lot of lessons we needed to learn, I needed to learn. It’s humbling moving in with your in-laws with your, soon to be, teenagers and a baby on the way. But through it all we learned humility, patience and grew tight as a family. We learned to trust God and be obedient. We learned the practicality of budgeting and realness of what scripture means when it talks about prospering.

We don’t serve a genie. God isn’t a magic lamp you can just use to get everything you want. We learned we have to manage what God gives us and even in hardship we have to trust Him, no matter how long the struggle might last. But trust that God will provide, He will answer, He always does. by @fiercecommunicator

The same rhetoric over and over, yet hasn’t quite worked, but it’s what people want to hear, tax the rich. This guy is a joke. by @fiercecommunicator
