Some challenges mean so much more than what they seem.✨

My first solo competition at the @canadasalsaandbachatacongress was a roller coaster of emotions, growth, hard work, and so many beautiful moments. I started a solo during a time of major changes in my life, and somewhere along the way, it became so much more than just dance. It became a way to reconnect with myself, grow through change, and discover a strength within me I didn’t know I had. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me to trust myself in a whole new way.

And to walk away with two 2nd-place finishes and a 3rd place in my very first solo competition at a congress of this caliber? My heart is FULL. 🥹🏆

Beyond the results, I’m proud of the work, the courage and every single woman I had the privilege of sharing this experience with. So much love for my coach @mariievaaa (who’s guidance made it possible) , for my fellow competitors, and everyone who made this first experience so special. ❤️

This chapter means so much to me, but it’s only the beginning. More to learn, more to build, more to give.
The medals are a moment. The growth is forever. And we’re just getting started. 🔥

ANESTESIADA ♥️

For some reason, this team always seems to operate on a completely different timeline than all our other Fierce teams. Usually, our amateur teams and up spend about a YEAR working on their choreography before bringing it to the stage… and then there’s this team. Somehow, the timeline is always shorter. One day, we’ll figure out how to fix that but that’s a story for another day!

Now, combine that with a BIG team, all the absences, last-minute changes, spacing, formations, effects, and all the little details that come with putting a large group on stage, and you can imagine the challenge. Before every show, there’s always a little cloud of stress hanging over this group.
But here’s what makes them so special.

The girls trust their coaches, the coaches trust their girls, and we keep working, rehearsing, adjusting, and working some more. Even when things get overwhelming, even when there’s discouragement, these girls keep showing up for each other. They work as a team, they push through, and somehow, EVERY SINGLE TIME, they manage to create nothing short of MAGIC on stage. ✨

And this time was no different. We had chills. We were beaming with pride. They looked absolutely beautiful, danced their hearts out, and brought so much energy, unity, and fierceness to that stage.

Another one for the books. Another choreography officially LOCKED IN. Another reminder that when you trust the process, trust each other, and keep showing up as a team, incredible things can happen.

We genuinely could not be prouder of these girls. And honestly, proud is such an understatement right now. 🥹

A smile that says it all ! 🌺🥥

The best part of it all? Watching you become more than just a team. Watching you support each other, celebrate each other, and create something that belongs to all of you.

There’s nothing more powerful than women who grow together. 🫶🏽

…and somehow, this becomes your greatest work. 🥹✨

Doing a solo takes so much more than just dancing. It takes courage to put yourself out there, discipline to keep showing up, and resilience to push through the days when nothing seems to go right.

It’s a constant roller coaster of highs and lows, self-doubt and breakthroughs, frustration and little victories. It’s showing up even when you’re tired, trusting the process when you can’t see the results yet, and choosing to believe in yourself even when it feels impossible.

But somewhere along the way, you grow. Not just as a dancer, but as a person. You discover what you’re capable of, you learn to trust yourself, and you realize that sometimes, the most beautiful thing you can create is a version of yourself you never thought you could become. 🤍

To our 4 beautiful dancers who took on this journey: we are SO proud of you. Proud of your courage, your dedication, your growth, and everything you’ve poured into these solos. We know how much work, emotion, and heart went into every single one of them.

This is so much bigger than a performance. And we hope you’re just as proud of yourselves as we are of you. 💗
