A Fierce Story by a Fierce One 🐺

Remi is a fierce young 6-year-old who has been a warrior since birth! She entered the world traumatically, suffering an injury to her right arm. Remi had to start therapy at an early age to get strength and range of motion back. She displayed determination as an infant and has continued on. At the age of 8 months old, her mother noticed a lump on her stomach. After tests in the emergency room, Remi was diagnosed with stage IV Hepatoblastoma with metastasis (cancer) to the lungs. She underwent chemotherapy and almost required a liver transplant. Fortunately, she had an amazing team and was able to perform a resection of the remaining cancerous tumor. Resilient Remi despite all the hard doings, continues to spread smiles and positivity! She is outgoing, motivated, and a fierce force! She returned to therapy for her arm and continues to work on maximizing the ability for more.
