in the february of 2023, valhalla was the very first Red River Venue to give fifi knifefight a shot at The Big Time. it truly felt like a major milestone and a sign that we were undergoing the metamorphosis from “solo act with occasional participants” to “real band” and valhalla has remained one of my absolute favorite places to perform, shoot pool, shoot whiskey, and shoot meatball subs down my gullet in the years since. we will be taking part in the month long farewell festivities next wednesday with a very special throwback set in which i, fifi knifefight, will be playing my very own acoustic guitar just like the old days, and we’ll be doing a bunch of the old songs i’ll bet you haven’t heard in a while, including never get better which i famously hate to play but you all love to hear. so please come. there’s no cover but i encourage you to bring some money to donate to the staff and buy drinks and let’s all have a good time together thank you by @fifiknifefight
