Tea drinking shouldn’t require fishing for the teabag string.

Wind it around the top button of my Light Sweater Mugs to keep it within reach.

See my Light Sweater Mugs at the White Rock Farmers Market in the Semiahmoo Arts Society booth on Sunday, August 16.

This wasn't the Christmas preview I had planned.

But I'm working on Christmas.

And pottery can be cruel. Especially on this side of the kiln.

Christmas markets announced soon.

Such a good day in White Rock today!!
It was so lovely to meet so many of you.
Welcome to the new Instagram followers and new members of Fifth Floor Friends!
Preliminary count is 27 items are going to new homes. I'll do the actual reconciliation later, but for now, I rest. Y'all wore me out!!
Thank you, White Rock! You were amazing today!!

It's this Sunday!

Today I pack it all up. Tomorrow we load it all up. And Sunday we put it all out on the table.

Look for me in the Semiahmoo Arts Society outreach booth in front of the community center between Russell and Thrift.

Come say Hi. I'd love to see you there!!

I think hospitality begins with how we welcome ourselves into our own lives. Sometimes that looks like a comfortable handmade mug or a friendly little detail that reminds us we matter.

Because we do.

Come and see what I mean at the White Rock Farmers Market on August 16.

Who knew that somewhere between being a lump and a finished item, that clay would have these object lessons? taken in Ladner, B.C. by @fifth_floor_pottery

I made a few of these ceramic tea towel spoon rests a couple of months ago, and I'm making more for my Christmas markets.

What colors go in your kitchen?
