This October we produced the first-ever Social Impact Summit x Sport, powered by Nike.

The inaugural event celebrated the intersection of sport and impact and discussed the future of youth sport; it was held at the newly-opened Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

The evening featured panelists and moderators including: Baron Davis, Scout Bassett, Diana Cutaia, Stan Verrett, Jimmy Kim, Azzi Fudd, Ali Riley and Becki Tweed.

Nike’s Vanessa Garcia-Brito and Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit-Samuelson kicked off the evening with a fireside chat and Derek Fisher presented the @la84foundation with the Excellence in Sport Impact Award, accepted by President and CEO, Renata Simril.

We would like to thank our incredible presenting sponsor Nike for their generous support and the amazing Nike team who helped us develop the program and speakers for the evening. We would also like to thank our supporting sponsor Good360 for their continued support of the Social Impact Summits, as well as our media partner ESPN by @fifthandhardy

Forty-five years of the HIV movement deserved more than a dinner. It deserved a show. House of Blues was the backdrop.
Gilead Sciences’ Public Affairs team asked Fifth & Hardy to produce its signature Leadership Dinner at the 2026 United States Conference on HIV/AIDS.

The brief was to honor the trailblazers who built the movement and to connect Gilead leaders directly with the community partners carrying it forward.

We took over House of Blues Anaheim for Mobilizing the Trailblazing Voices: Stories That Shaped Us. Leaders Who Inspire Us. Rather than staging a traditional program, we produced the evening like live television. Presenters spoke live to camera from within the audience, then threw to the stage and back again. The energy kept moving and the community stayed at the center of every moment.

Nearly 230 advocates, emerging voices and established leaders filled the room for a night that was equal parts tribute and celebration. It ended on a packed dance floor, proof that the movement is still very much alive. by @fifthandhardy

Our client the Social Impact Fund together with our media partner, The Hollywood Reporter, gathered over 500 changemakers, creatives, and leaders for the third annual Social Impact Summit, celebrating purpose-driven leadership and meaningful collaboration.

Keynote speaker Sepideh Moafi set the tone with an inspiring talk on compassion, storytelling, and philanthropy. Major honors of the day went to Michael J. Fox and Deborah W. Brooks of The Michael J. Fox Foundation, who received the Philanthropic Organization of the Year award from Harrison Ford and shared insights on mission-driven success with “Shrinking” creator Bill Lawrence. John Mayer was named Philanthropist of the Year for his work with the Heart and Armor Foundation supporting veterans’ health, while Stephen and Ayesha Curry were also presented the Philanthropists of the Year award by W. Kamau Bell, for their work advancing youth education, food security, and sports through the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation.

Additionally, Laverne Cox presented Gilead Sciences, Inc. with the award for Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy. Powerful panels throughout the afternoon featured voices like Karamo Brown, Baron Davis, and top industry executives discussing Black equity, community-centered solutions, and strengthening Los Angeles’s philanthropic infrastructure. Social Impact Fund Executive Director Craig Cichy rounded out the event with remarks highlighting the organization’s mission and the importance of collective action in advancing social impact.

We are especially thankful to our client Gilead Sciences for supporting the Social Impact Fund for three years in a row and they are incredibly deserving of the first ever SIF honor for Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy. by @fifthandhardy

Ahead of the national release of IS GOD IS, Amazon MGM Studios partnered with Fifth & Hardy to put the film directly in front of its core audience: HBCU students.
We designed and executed a seven-stop HBCU tour across the South and East Coast. It kicked off with an on-campus activation at the Atlanta University Center, featuring the iconic car from the film. From there it moved to exclusive advance screenings for Howard, NC A&T, Dillard and Xavier, FAMU, Texas Southern and Johnson C. Smith. Every stop was anchored by a community host, from Black Girls In Media to FAMU drum major Dupe Oloyede. Aleshea Harris joined students at Howard for a film school Q&A.

Fifth & Hardy led strategy, campus partnerships, RSVP and check-in, student ambassador programs, social content and on-the-ground video capture. We brought in Black-owned brand partners Topicals and Black Girl Vitamins, and Watch The Yard came on as media partner to amplify the tour nationwide.

The tour engaged more than 12,400 students, generated 6.2M+ social impressions and filled theaters to 97% capacity on average. For many students it was their very first premiere. We didn’t advertise IS GOD IS to HBCU students; we brought it to them. by @fifthandhardy
