Love love love you, @goodfoodguideuk ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰 Thank you for including us in 2025!! Cheers to another year in this #finecity (Maybe top 100 restaurants up next? 🫶 Go vote, friends!) 🥰 by @figbarnorwich

Hi, Fine City! We don’t often pop our faces onto this grid, because we like food too much. 🤣 But I mostly wanted to remind you of the man behind figbar: Chef Jaime Garbutt. After over 20 years in the industry and business development, his pastry CV is unparalleled. Working with the likes of Marcus Waring and Gordon Ramsay to Norfolk’s own Galton Blackiston and Richard Bainbridge. He has been TV programs Iron Chef America and Korean Food Made Simple. He opened Jinjuu restaurant group in U.K. and Hong King with Chef Judy Joo. He opened and designed menus for restaurants Made in Camden and The Playboy Club in London. His recipes feature in cookbooks Korean Food Made Simple, the Norfolk Cookbook, and Second Helpings. He has run a bakery that supplied Fortum & Masons, consulted for numerous start-ups and restaurant groups, and lectures in schools. He continues to run a consulting business and figbar while contributing recipes to cookbooks & magazines. And did you know that he got his start in Norwich’s own @wafflehousenorwich where he worked his way from pot wash to head chef? PHEW! There’s a lot more that I didn’t write, and he is always up a chat about his cheffing experience 🥰 Plus, this superhuman still found time to marry ME! And have THREE gorgeous baby figs. Cheers to Norwich and 2025 and this sweet life in such a fine city ❤️❤️ Love you, Norwich 😍 by @figbarnorwich

Thank you @goodfoodguideuk for naming us a 2024 local gem 🥰❤️ by @figbarnorwich
