Stephen Wonderboy Thompson says that he would rather fight Francis Ngannou in the street over prime Mike Tyson in the boxing ring, because he says he’d be limited against Mike, and he could do other things to Francis like throw a chair at him or bite him. Who would you rather fight?

Alexander Volkanovski’s insane cardio is a huge factor for his success in the UFC octagon. It allows him to keep a very high pace the entire time that exposes his opponents who can’t keep up physically. The last time Alexander Volkanovski was tired in a fight was versus Chad Mendes. Even after losing to Islam Makhachev, Alex stood tall giving an interview and Islam needed to be held out by his teammates.

Alexander Volkanovski’s striking is criminally underrated because he sticks to the basics, which is extremely effective but isn’t as flashy. Fans love flashy moves in the UFC, but they can get you in a lot of trouble. An example of this is Chris Weidman attempting a spinning wheel kick against Luke Rockhold and failing miserably, only for 1 minute later for him to lose his belt because of it.

Alexander Volkanovski’s secret advantage is his height. I calculated the average height of the top 15 UFC featherweights, and the average is 5 foot 9, while Alexander Volkanovski is only 5 foot 6. That’s a 3 inch difference that helps him massively in potential submissions. He’s also harder to take down because of his height, and it’s much harder to punch him because you’re punching down at him which most fighters aren’t used to.

Kamaru Usman responded to Dricus Du Plessis African comments by saying just because if he were to go to another country and grow up and live there, it doesn’t mean that he has that country in his DNA. Dricus’ comments stirred up the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesnya, but Kamaru Usman was included in it too, because Dricus Du Plessis original comment was how they never brought the belt back to Africa where he lives, because Usman lives in the states and Israel Adesnya lives in New Zealand.
