We @stowayinc_ have been asked this question quite a number of times every time we introduce ourselves to a new audience

What is STOWAY ?

There cannot be a single definition or meaning to what this stands for or represents in our books, as a free creative body.
Over the years, our society(Ghana and the rest of Africa) has struggled and is still struggling with curbing the menace of illegal travels of its younger generation in search for greener pastures.

The inadequacy of mere life opportunities for our society’s majority (the younger generation) has fueled this plight to a much heightened degree in recent years, our aspirations as a creative body is not only to make pieces of fabrics in our little studios but to also raise awareness of the impact of taking such journeys’

Our ambitions for the future is also to have the ability to create equal opportunities for enthusiastic young people across the continent of Africa and our motherland Ghana, while paying homage to the heritage, history of the land, the toil of our fore bearers who fought to attain the freedom that we enjoy today through every piece of fabrics.

The freedom to an equal opportunity society we sought are currently undefined as it will be irrational to generalize a single pathway to a better life because we’re all unique and different in our own ways and possess different talents,drives and goals in life.

THIS IS STOWAY, not a definite meaning to this drive and mission exists. Our perspective will remain the same and our initiatives will thrive to remain dynamic.
