we’re doing it again!! 🍂☕️🕯️

I’m so excited to be back @fika_microbakery for our second candle workshop! our first one completely SOLD OUT, so of course we had to do another one!!!

this time we’re making it all about FALL. I’ll be bringing some new seasonal scents — pumpkin, cinnamon, coffee & more — for you to mix and create your own unique candle.

and my favorite part… FIKA closes down just for us! so it’ll be a private cozy evening of candle making, painting, coffee, pastries & hanging out.

Today we say goodbye to our Day 1: Rob.
It’s hard to put into words what Rob has meant to Fika. 🤍

He has been with us since the very beginning (since the doors first opened) and somehow became one of those people who can truly do it all. Baker, barista, cashier, salesman extraordinaire… there isn’t much Rob can’t do.

But what we’ll miss most isn’t even what he can do. It’s who he is.

Rob has this incredible warmth that makes every customer feel like an old friend. He has a way of convincing someone that, yes, they absolutely do need several salted chocolate chip cookies 😂, but more than that, he makes people feel welcomed, known, and cared for. He genuinely loves our community, and it shows in the way he serves every person who walks through our doors.

And above all, Rob’s relationship with God has always come first. We’ve been so blessed to watch that faith shape the way he works, serves, loves people, and lives his life.

Fika simply would not be Fika without the people who helped build it in those early days, and Rob is a huge part of that story.

We are so thankful for every early morning, every cookie sold, every coffee made, every conversation, every laugh, and every person you made feel a little more at home.

We’re going to miss you, Rob. More than you know. ❤️
