I’m Regina, the artist behind Fil d Fleur 🪡🌸

I design and create tiny felt dolls inspired by girlies from around the globe 🥰

As someone who loves traveling and experiencing different cultures, I was inspired to combine my passion for art and embroidery to celebrate femininity and individuality, while ultimately highlighting the beautiful unity of being girly 💕

I’ve truly enjoyed sharing my dolls on this platform and connecting with fellow creatives so far, and I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you 💕

Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse!💚

The original ☺️

- For the last doll in the La Catalana set I wanted to showcase the traditional colors usually worn by Sardanas dancers ✨

The costume consists of a skirt and apron, fishnet gloves and headpiece, and detailed neck scarf that hangs around the back. My favorite piece are the shoes that lace up around the legs 🥰 -

This is officially the last doll I make with one singular leg 😂 We are now moving on to two individual legs!

In Part 2 of why I love blanket stitch 🤓

I love the look of it on outfits.✨ Shoes are trickier, but tops and bottoms look so much better with an all-around blanket stitch. Depending on the size of the piece I may not be able to comfortably stitch, BUT everyday I learn a little bit more 🤓

Like for example, I’ve started working on a bigger size doll (just slightly bigger) and with two individual legs so I can stuff it better and give it a more ‘plush’ look feel ☺️ Let’s see how that goes 😋

I was going to post this tomorrow, but I just can’t wait ☺️

Rita 🧡🥰 Inspired by my grandma who danced Sardanas (Catalan folk dance) and used to take me with her when I was young 💕

The costume is accurate but I did not use the traditional colors (that girly is on her way 😋). The green and orange come from a tile wall in Gaudí’s @casavicens that I’m obsessed with. It’s crazy how this tiny felt doll has so much meaning behind it. 😂

I loved stitching her together ✨
