I have discovered a cure for lethargy!!! My new EP 'High Energy Concentrate 5X' is out now on Bandcamp, Subvert and Soundcloud! (YouTube visualisers coming too!) link in bio! It's non-stop, four-to-the-floor action encompassing Breakbeat Hardcore & High-NRG Dance with snarky and fun vocals! The cover art was done by the very talented @haraiva so please have a swipe and see some of the details! There's also a really fun launch gig with @halfsunksound on Friday, tickets are on resident advisor! I've got fun merch planned and the music will be amazing I can GUARANTEE! I am really really happy with how this turned out and it's special because 4/5 tracks feature my recorded voice saying things! I've always been self conscious of my voice but I've been inspired by my friends' music to say something explicitly and express myself that way. I hope it resonates! The EP began as a desire to make a spiritual successor to Machine Girl's 2020 EP, 'Reporpoised Phantasies'. I wanted to take the same approach and see where it lead me to. The tracks are fun and uplifting but putting my vocals into the tracks gave me a chance to energise the listener in a more conceptual way. The tracks still focus on the instrumental first so I think I've struck a good balance! Pls have a great day and be kind to the people around you <3 High Energy Concentrate 5X was formulated, processed and bottled on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. #melbournemusic #naarm #highenergy #dancemusic by @file_explorer
