I am proud to host Kyoto legend @magoch1 next Monday on @noodsradio for the Digital Artefacts show

I came to know @nc4k_jp when @natural.language.processing asked me to help with promo work for his EP a few years back and became a fan then.

I had the pleasure to meet Lomax and @stonestaro and I can vouch for their hospitality and the passion with which they curate label, parties, venues and sets.

For the quality of his outputs the music speaks for itself.

“Dive” out now everywhere!! 🐟🐟💗

The first two songs on this EP were made over the last two years, and they were very dear to me, so I held on to them knowing they would find their place somewhere eventually.
I sent Filippo some songs to check out, and he picked these two from the batch and proposed we release them on tape through his “Digital Artifacts” tape series. (go check out all the amazing previous releases from @nesaazadikhah and @freeimageuploader on Bandcamp)
Since we needed two more tracks, the last two were made specifically with this project in mind. “Between Four Walls of Water” started from a loop I made a long time ago that I really liked but could never finish, so this was the perfect push to give it one more try, and somehow it worked out. (finishing music is still an absolute nightmare🥀😩🙏).
“No Time” took the longest to make because I was battling with the old Casio CZ-101. Since mine has no working preset memory, I had to remake the patch every time I wanted to change something. For some reason, every time I tried to recreate it, it would sound slightly different, sometimes shit, sometimes amazing, even though I had all the parameters exactly the same.
The fight was worth it in the end, and I’m really happy with how everything came together, and that this music I made now exists in the physical realm. This EP is of course about - love.

Biggest thanks to boss @filippomsm for making this happen!
Also, thanks to @koturkafeifilm for hosting the release party and to all the people who came out and bought a tape. All the tapes I had with me are sold out, but you can still get some online and in finer record stores worldwide. Very limited numbers left. Get them while you can!

I have been asked to create the soundtrack for the amazing listening bar @brill.kyoto this Saturday. For the occasion I will be playing records I have been able to find whilst here, mostly Japanese music spanning the last 40 years as well as some dub, hip hop and a few Kulture Galerie gems too.

You will be able to grab copies of Volume 4, the last Alien D tapes and the new L.O.V.D cassette release

Thank you for the invite / どうもありがとうございます by @filippomsm

@fitf_wales since I can only share pics and recount what I have been told (as 2 of the @unexpecteditems_ldn 3 amigos were crossing roads elsewhere as documented ) I wanted to say thank you to alllllll the amazing DJs who played for our Kulture Galerie stage powered by @bosunsound and people who danced all day!

@asa_tate___ @ysanne___ @alien_izz @nathankalani @peteyson @alichadderwick ❤️

A special mention to @jamie_chap1 @simpler_times_uk for believing in the label from day 1 and let us get involved even if in such strange circumstances

Mostly though I want to thank our best friend @pedmonster for stepping in and help running the stage, making everyone feel at home as he always does and play for 3 hours ❤️ you and @wilsonofabitchh are absolute gems 🌞
