Surprised by a snowy night in Asakusa, we toughed it out without down jackets or umbrellas. We pushed on, and a warm bowl of gyu don at Sukiya was the perfect remedy😮‍💨. Freezing hands, warm hearts, that heavy snow certainly made for an epic night.

A bit ironic, isn’t it?

Hong Kong was once known for its neon-lit streets, and now there’s an exhibition for the signs that were taken down. They’re preserved, admired, and remembered—but somehow they feel a little less alive.

Beautiful? Absolutely.
But I can’t help thinking they’d be even more beautiful if they were still hanging above the streets, doing what they were made to do.

This is, hands down, my favourite neon sign in Hong Kong.

Standing beneath it, close enough to hear the neon tubes sizzling and watch the light breathe. Some things just can’t be replaced by LEDs.

This was actually my first time seeing Hong Kong’s skyline from The Peak at night, and gosh…you never really realise how beautiful this city is until you start living overseas.

Somehow the buildings, the lights, the chaos — it all felt a little more special this time🏙️

Also accidentally picked the one night there was a fireworks show while I was riding up to The Peak, so I ended up watching the fireworks from the bus haha

blurry, hazy — almost real, but slightly off.

Like a half-remembered dream of childhood summers, chasing each other along the shore,
