POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wrote this stemming from the idea that maybe we need to start resting again.

We constantly try to “lock in,” keep grinding, keep moving, keep chasing. But what if moving endlessly doesn’t guarantee you’ll ever meet your “luck” especially when the system you’re depending on is already rigged?

So I imagined an absurd story.

In this community, there’s a belief passed down through generations: if you wake up early and make your way to a particular place, one day you’ll meet the god of prosperity and your life will change forever.

My character, Moving Man, believes this wholeheartedly. He spends his days chasing a promise that may or may not exist.

The story can be read as an allegory for many things , including people who work tirelessly every day, hoping that one breakthrough, one lucky moment, or one divine encounter will finally change everything.

But the truth is different.

The “god of prosperity” was never real. The myth existed for another purpose. The people who eventually became prosperous didn’t succeed because luck chose them they succeeded because the journey made them disciplined, resilient, and connected with others.

That’s what I find interesting.

The journey still matters. Waking up, showing up, and doing the work still matter. But maybe it’s healthier to do those things because they shape you, not because you’re waiting for some magical moment that will fix everything.

In the end, Moving Man goes home and has the best sleep of his life.

This is my entry for accelerate tv on the theme “The journey” @accelerate_tv

When someone photobombs my video so I mistakenly make an event video 😌🤭

Yesterday was Fintech Finance Fair and it was nothing short of amazing, As a creative I have really learnt a lot about money making and investing from these amazing women that put this together and the biggest shoutout to @financialjennifer

Fintribe is legendary! because tell me how they were able to pull over 5000 women! Impressive! And I was glad to be part of this year’s own and also take the event videos as a mobile videographer 🎉

Who else was there? Tell us your favorite moments below!
