STIVE IS A FLORIDA GATOR!

Amazing news as former SGS PRiDE DL Stive-Bentley Keumajou-Yondui has joined the University of Florida on scholarship!

🇬🇧 Started his football journey with the @london_blitz_u19

🦁 Joined SGS PRiDE Sixth Form, got his first taste of 11on11 football before graduating from the programme last summer

🇺🇸 Moved to Florida to play High School football at Coral Gables and smashed it at Football, Soccer, Basketball & Track. He graduated from Rise Preparatory Academy, and earned his A.A. Degree from Miami-Dade College

💪 Attended camps across the US this spring to put himself in front of college coaches

⭐ Ranked the #37 DL nationally and #2 in the state of Florida

📈 The offers followed, including opportunities from Georgia, Miami and Florida

Stive had the option to return to Coral Gables for another season, but chose to make the jump to college now:

“I wanted to get to college and continue my growth and development against college athletes.”

Why Florida?

“They had an actual developmental plan for me and I felt like the new coaching staff could change things at Florida.”

👩‍👦 Family also played a huge part in his decision. Stive made it clear during recruitment that his mum would have a big influence on his choice — Florida made the effort to build that relationship too, regularly speaking with her and bringing her to Gainesville for the Spring Game.

🇮🇪 And when we asked for his favourite memory from his time at SGS?

“The whole Ireland trip.” 😂

From Blitz ➡️ SGS ➡️ Coral Gables ➡️ FLORIDA GATORS.

An incredible journey already — and he’s only getting started. NFL??

Congratulations Stive. Everyone at SGS PRiDE is incredibly proud of you. by @filtonpride

SHUTOUT IN THE RAIN 🌧️

SGS Bristol PRiDE U19 34–0 South West Dragons

In heavy rain, with a wet ball and every snap a battle, PRiDE ran the ball 36 times for 301 yards and didn't give up a point.

A new BUCS Premiership campaign is upon us, and SGS PRiDE University is ready to go again!

Eight regular-season fixtures, four opponents and another opportunity to compete against some of the best university American Football programmes in the country.

After reaching back-to-back Premiership Finals, the standards and expectations remain high. But nothing is given, and last season’s achievements won’t win this season’s games.

New faces. New challenges. Same standards.

The work starts now as we look to earn another opportunity to compete for a premiership championship.

A new season, new challenges and more opportunities for the next generation of SGS PRiDE athletes to compete and develop.

Our Sixth Form squad has an exciting schedule ahead, with domestic opposition, and international matchups against visiting teams from Denmark and the USA 🇺🇸

Plenty to look forward to as our young athletes continue to test themselves, represent SGS PRiDE and take the next steps in their football journeys.

Interested in being a part of this squad in 2027? Recruitment form in bio. Next tryout in Feb 2027.
