There’s something incredibly special about watching your girls step onto the high school court and see their hard work come to life. Having our youngest here already feels a little bittersweet, but mostly, I’m overwhelmed with pride. We know they wouldn’t be here without the Lord’s abundant blessings, and we’re so thankful for His guidance and protection over their lives. 🥹

Girls, soak in every moment of playing in front of your classmates. Trust your preparation, play with confidence, and enjoy every second! 🏀 “Be strong and courageous. Defense is an art, and Aya is mastering it.

At just 13 years old, she impacts winning with her toughness, IQ, and selfless approach. Naturally a 2/3, but confidently accepts the challenge of guarding 1 through 5. She battles in the paint, competes every possession, and makes every touch difficult.

This is Aya holding her own against Cyfair top 16U EYBL teams. She consistently forced tough shots, limited clean looks, and proved she belongs on the floor. The Lord is continuing to grow her game, and she’s only getting started.

This weekend was special. 🤍

A gym full of women pouring into the next generation and growing the women’s game. Watching G answer questions on the @way2ballofficial panel and seeing Aya coach made this mama heart so proud🥺

WayToBall is women-led, creating space to educate, encourage, and prepare the next generation of hoopers! Thank you @syahoops and @missjoyce22 for the opportunity to be apart of it all.

Lando and I have always taught our girls: what God gives you isn’t just for you. Serve. Pour back. Leave something for the next girl.

Having my parents fly in from Utah made it even more special. 🥹 Three generations in one gym, with my parents showing up for us while watching our girls learn to show up for others. Full circle. 🤍

Lord, keep covering our babies and allowing us to pour back what You’ve poured into us. 🙏🏽

If you know Aya, you already KNOW this driving lesson was 10% driving and 90% commentary. 😭😂

Our Nervous Nelly JUST turned 14, but we’re starting now because once she gets that license… that girl is GONE. 😂🚗

Before Gia even woke up, she was already asking me to take her to the gym. Dad had the workout covered, and afterward they finished with this drill plus three different layup series. The maturity, hunger, and intention are showing up differently.

Do you ever look back and realize you were doing the exact same thing this time years ago? Of course, ours involved basketball 😂🏀

And here we are, still at it. Pretty soon, they’ll be driving themselves to training and practices and won’t need me tagging along 🥺 So for now, I’m soaking up every ride, every workout and every moment…because once they get that freedom, I already know they’re gone 😂

My girls never hesitate to come home with me, especially when they know how much it means. This trip held a lot. We said farewell to someone we love, they met their nephew for the first time, soaked up family, and cheered on their cousin Jonah during his senior year. 🤍

Then we got back home… and back to work we went. 😂 I almost felt bad having their dad watch that first workout after Utah because IYKYK 😭 But honestly, they needed it.

Family filled our cups, and that workout exposed what needs some extra attention. Now we know exactly what we’re walking into the gym to perfect today. 🏀🎯

Time is a thief, so when we make it home, I soak up every moment I’ve missed. Friday nights cheering for you with these faces are moments I wish I had more of. 🥹

Jonah, FOUR touchdowns for our soon to be a full ride UTES BOY… my aunty heart could burst‼️But I’m even prouder of your ❤️. You’re always helping your teammates get seen because you truly believe there’s room at the table for everyone to eat. ❤️

And Utah… that one hits different. 🥹 That place has always held such a special piece of Grandpa’s heart, as he played rugby there and now he gets to watch his grandson earn his way there. There’s something so full circle about that. And for me, Utah is where I snagged Uncle Lando 😂❤️, so a whole part of my own life started there too. Now we get to watch YOU create your own memories, chase your own dreams and add another chapter to our family’s Utah story. That one means more than you probably even realize. ❤️

I love you so much, Jonah. Medlock’s will be in those stands… you already know. 😂❤️🏈

Last time my girls were in Utah, we were celebrating Bubba. A year later, they’re meeting Sondra’s baby, our very first great-grandbaby. 🥺🤍

My girls have never been the ones to gravitate toward babies, so watching them completely melt over him, fight for turns to hold him, and just not want to put him down got me. 🥹 Watching my babies love the baby of the girl who first made me an auntie… my heart could barely handle that kind of full circle. 🤍
