Hello Daytona! Officially checked in to Miss United USA nationals representing my home, the state of Alabama.

This short journey as Miss Alabama so far has been a bit different for me as I chose step away from letting my personal social media affect my mental space heading into nationals. I wanted to focus on community work and platform building, giving back and being present being the main goal! Now we’re here, excited, and ready to represent my Sweet Home! ❤️ by @finalbossfarrah

IN HONOR OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH:

Farrah Sanders, a Huntsville native, graduated with honors from James Clemens High School before earning a Bachelor’s in Communication & Information Sciences and a Master’s in Gender & Race Studies from The University of Alabama, both with high honors.

During her time at UA, she was active in campus leadership and Alabama Athletics, serving in SGA, Black Student Union, and the Center for Service and Leadership. She received the Distinguished Leader Award and the Autherine Lucy Foster Award and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and The XXXI, an honor society recognizing women making significant contributions to the university and Alabama.

Farrah has made her mark in pageantry, holding the title of the longest-reigning Miss Black & Old Gold for Alabama, serving as Miss Black Rocket City in 2022, and recently becoming Miss Black Alabama 2025.
Her passion for sports led her to work under legendary coach Nick Saban and become the first Black intern for the Birmingham Legion Football Club. She also played a key role in launching the United States Football League and its merger with the XFL.
Beyond her career, Farrah mentors young dancers as head coach of the Crimson Belles Dance Team and enjoys traveling, volunteering, and the fine arts through painting, piano, and dance. 👑🚀💜

Using a 2023 recap to post some of my Renaissance pictures? Yes absolutely. This was quite a year. Lots of lessons and lots to be thankful for. Looking back on these photos I’m most thankful for everyone that kept me from feeling alone during a really transformative year. I love my community, my folks, my people.
