Comment an offer if you'd like to claim one, I'll get back to you ASAP in between house inspections haha. In maybe a week or so I'll list them also on Vinted, this is just to give an early bird chance to friends 😊 PLEASE read the Info slide first! Love you all! PS sorry I only know 1 knit stitch so they're not very fancy 😅 I'm making up for it in fun wools by @finalboyreads

Dria's top surgery fundraiser
for gender-affirming care
Multiple ways to support
Launching Monday!
Swipe for more info!

For months now, I've been using my amateur knitting skills to make a collection of gorgeous scarves... And there's more coming!

They're all made with the most gorgeous wools I could find and colours chosen with intention so there's something -- texture- and colour-wise -- for everyone.

It's a pay what you can/want situation, all with the intention of funding my surgery goals, so for your consideration the cost of materials is advertised with each scarf so you can offer accordingly. Each scarf takes around 7-10 days to make. Any imperfections will be photographed also.

Postage is $16 Australia-wide (prepaid satchel). Overseas PLEASE just ask me for a quote, I don't wanna lose the opportunity to send to you beautiful international friends of mine!

The classic
Ol' reliable
Can't go past a good old GFM link for those not wanting scarves haha

The link will be posted at the same time the scarves go up so it'll all launch together... NEVERMIND I messed up and the link is now live in my bio :3

You can also support with the usual shares and reposts, as you never know who might see it if we can get this far and wide 🥺

Transparency/ the nitty gritty:
$9k upfront surgeon's fee (includes 12 months of follow-up/post-op appointments)
$3k APPROX anesthesiology projection
$350 compression garments for 6ish weeks
$200 hospital admission excess on my private insurance
Lab fees may be charged later if they feel necessary
TOTAL $12,550 upfront by @finalboyreads

Happy T day to me 🥹 Cler bought me some books to celebrate by @finalboyreads

September has been a write off. I've read 2 books: The Shining and Night Shift. It was my birthday. I went to Come to Daddy bar for the first time. We had a garage sale. I knitted more. Tomorrow we hand the keys back and officially become unhoused. But the support we've had from community has been lifesaving, from reliable people to take our dogs and Pumpkin, to help with a trailer and loan of a car for Spike to drive for a few days. by @finalboyreads

1 ⭐ review of The Caretaker
😬
How did he go from such an intricate debut as We Used to Live Here... to THIS?

There is nothing to keep the reader engaged, the MC doesn't figure out what anything means along the way or uncover minor answers/ clues, and suffers setback after setback until the last 40 pages of the book. There isn't a single win experienced by the MC throughout to keep the reader hoping till the end. It was depressing, confusing, two-dimensional, and I got nothing out of it except for throwing the library copy I read across the room, which was admittedly cathartic. by @finalboyreads

Just finished Trad Wife. The slow burn was IMMACULATE, the clues came together beautifully, no loose ends, no plot holes, the pacing perfect... One of the best executed examples of writing imho! by @finalboyreads

Every moment of Just Like Home captivated me! I read a lot of this one aloud to my partner Cler, which rarely happens, and we both were taken by the writing, the description, the cadence. For a book with maybe 4 characters for the majority of the book, it definitely didn't feel like it! 5 ⭐ from us! by @finalboyreads
