September taught us to get in order.
October is teaching us to stand.

Last month, we prayed for Order & Strategy, clarity, focus, intentionality, and wisdom to steward what God has placed in our hands.

Now, we’re going deeper.

Because what God has placed in our hands is worth covering in prayer.

This month, we're praying as we fight SPIRITUAL WARFARE with a focus on AUTHORITY, standing firm, guarding our minds, covering our families, and trusting God for victory.

“Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God…” — Ephesians 6:10–11

We don't fight from fear.
We stand in faith. 🛡️🙏🏽

September, we’re closing you out with gratitude. 🙏🏽

This month we prayed for ORDER & STRATEGY for clarity where there was confusion, focus where there were distractions, and wisdom to steward what God has already placed in our hands.

And maybe everything didn’t get perfectly organized. Maybe every question wasn’t answered. Maybe there are still things you’re waiting on.

But God has been faithful.

So before we move on, let’s pause and thank Him for what He has revealed, what He has reordered, what He has strengthened, and even what He is still working on.

Lord, thank You for September. Continue to order our steps and give us wisdom for what’s ahead. Amen. 🙏🏽

A lot may deserve your attention....but not everything deserves your focus.

We're praying for the wisdom to recognize distractions and the discipline to keep our eyes on what God has placed before us.

You don't have to do everything.

You have to be faithful to your assignment.

🙏🏾Lord, quiet the distractions around me and help me focus on what You have called me to do in this season.

Stewardship is recognizing that what we have is something God has entrusted to us.

Our time.
Our gifts.
Our resources.
Our relationships.
Our influence.

This week we're praying that we don't overlook what God has already placed in our hands while waiting for something new.

August taught us to prepare.

We prayed for discipline.
We asked God for wisdom.
We worked on our habits.
We prepared our hearts for what was ahead.

And now we've been putting things in order.

Because sometimes the answer isn't another opportunity...

Sometimes it's getting organized enough to steward the opportunity God has already given you.

September is our fall reset.

We've been praying this month for clarity where there's confusion.
Structure where there's chaos.
Focus where there are distractions.
And strategy where we've been simply trying to figure things out as we go.

We're asking God to show us what needs to stay, what needs to go, what needs to be prioritized, and what needs our attention now.

But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. 1 Corinthians 14:40

This month, we haven't been trying to do more.

We're asking God to help us do what matters well.

We've already been praying all of August so far
And preparing for what's to come

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the freedom You've given us and the confidence to walk in Your authority.

As we continue to the end of this month, we ask that you continue to prepare us for everything You have ahead.

Give us disciplined hearts, teachable spirits, and wisdom for every decision.

Order our priorities.
Establish healthy rhythms.
Help us steward our time, our families, our work, and our gifts with excellence.

May we prepare in faith, trusting that every step of obedience is making room for Your purpose.

Lead us with wisdom and strengthen us to remain faithful in the small things.

Sometimes people don't ask for help, not because they don't need it, but because they don't know how to ask.

Sometimes they've been carrying so much for so long that they've forgotten what it feels like to simply

Our first Room to Receive blessing is a gifted stay at our Airbnb in Stone Mountain Ga for a family or individual who could use some time away to rest, reset, reconnect, and be reminded that they are not alone.

We're looking for a family or individual who hasn't had a vacation in years, a parent who is always pouring into everyone else, or someone walking through a season where a little rest and encouragement could mean so much.

Breakfast for dinner just hits different in our house. 😂

Shrimp and grits.
Bacon.
Eggs.
Biscuits.

But this meal was about so much more than what we were cooking.

Three generations in the kitchen.

My daughter.
Her granny.
And me.

Watching my daughter and her granny make biscuits together made me pause and think about the things that get passed down from one generation to the next.

Sometimes it's a recipe.
Sometimes it's a cooking technique.
Sometimes it's the stories shared while your hands are busy.

But sometimes, it's something deeper.

It's the wisdom.
The love.
The patience.
The confidence to learn something new.

It's watching a little girl learn from the woman who came before her, while knowing that one day, she may be the one teaching someone else.

That's legacy.

God gives us opportunities to pass down more than possessions.
We get to pass down faith.
Family traditions.
Life lessons.
And memories that become part of who our children are.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 reminds us to teach God's ways to our children as we go about our everyday lives.

And maybe that's the beauty of it.

Sometimes discipleship looks like sitting down with a Bible.

And sometimes it looks like making biscuits with Granny in the kitchen.

Either way, we're teaching.
We're loving.
We're building something that can outlive us.

Three generations.
One kitchen.
One meal.
A whole lot of love.

And I pray what we're passing down is more than recipes.

I pray we're passing down a legacy that points them back to God.

Before the world gives you a label...
God has already given you an identity.

You are chosen.
You are loved.
You belong to Him.

This month we're praying and thanking God that our identity is rooted in Christ not in our accomplishments, failures, or opinions of others.

This is Freedom
We are not trapped in or dependent on this world's circumstances
We trust in God....All things are possible through Christ

Father, remind us daily of who we are in You and help us live confidently in our God-given identity.
