I seldom upload work pics so here’s a start 😂 Had to move fast for this corporate job so it was 2 bigger lights and 2 pavotubes aaaaand roll cam! No time to waste! A quick diagram done up in the Nanlite App to show the placements, this diagram is just so it’s clearer for you guys to see the layout. It was done after the shoot 🤣 Output is in the middle, glad we could still get that round white circle glisten in the eye! Meanwhile for some shots the domes had to go super high to avoid reflection in the spectacles. Then that’s when the Nanlux remote control came in pretty handy So the Nanlux has the COB enclosure and ballast all in one then just the remote control runs down so it’s easier for us to control. Took me a while to get used to not seeing a ballast and muscle memory had me finding it for settings adjustments. 😂 but hey still saves a lot of effort instead of bringing up and down the lights, or we could have DMX-ed this. Actual output once again in the middle, this interview was split into multiple parts for English and Chinese segments plus we had to “fake” more interview angles so it was a pretty tight time crunch. We OT-ed in the end 😂 And the cameras for this shoot! The Nikon R3D files do pair up pretty nicely with the other 2 reds. taken in Singapore / Singapura / 新加坡 / சிங்கப்பூர் by @financialmistakecopen

1 week & 2 Porsches later ➡️ Swipe for shots through my camera! I wanted to accurately capture the build process by Nakai-san so in this series. I was more focused on capturing his eye-line and his touch points on the car. Let’s go! #rwb #porsche The usual cig shot, someone commented which I thought is damn funny, they said he is watching YouTube tutorials HAHAHAHA Okay but I rly admire his steady hands Top shot I wanted to capture the amount of cameras pointed at him well I guess you could +1 since I did too. Bottom shot, just wanted to focus on a close up of grunge. Checking the wheel fitment and wheel arch alignment probably. Measure thrice cut once is a phrase I’ve lived through too many times but his was more like measure twice cut once measure again thrice As Nakai-san stopped and took breaks, he will usually fixate his eyes on the car first, give it some thoughts before glancing around Got my 1:18 signed and got a tee! Yes that’s a mini labubu Hehehe got greedy, got Nakai to practice more handwriting Comparing models, same same but different! It’s finally DONEEEE last day surely felt the longest Camera geeking out, same same lens but different! It’s double Monday blues! Swipe for a more detailed review! I was pleasantly surprised by the Deepal S07 because i was expecting some cheaper feeling interiors from a “Chinese EV” but it wasn’t the case. Experience with this car and its brand was largely v positive because I felt like the majority of personnel actually cared. Not just a service-front but rather from a genuine heart. OK right off the bat grabbing the steering wheel, the car feels large to drive, didn’t help coming from a Copen to this HAHAHA. AND it’s a Cat B car. While the interior feels comfortable, I rly wish it drove smaller! Luckily it has 360 cameras which I had to very much rely on in HDB multistorey carparks. Surely gained confidence overtime but meanwhile if I’m buying this car, it will be a point of consideration for me. Car comes in at $199k sgd btw! Midget’s POV: An accurate on the road look. This part I’m seriously impressed. It’s SUUUUPER SPACIOUS at the back! 100% I’ll fall asleep at the back of this! Out of all the cars I’ve tried so far, this part is pretty memorable. Spacious leg room and idk why but this glass roof feels more sprawling compared to the others. But. I don’t see myself getting to sit behind tho so heh 🤷‍♂️ I’ve tried other SUV with sunroof but it also doesn’t feel as spacious as what this gives somehow. I’m interested to find out what are the smaller factors that constitute to this. Fun gimmick, you can take wefies in the car but there’s no way of extracting the images from it. WHAT. oh come on! What usually happens when we shoot cars. 1. Deviates to buy food before shoot even starts 2. Eats full and food coma 3. Procrastinate shoot or just super sluggish or shoot half They call this the sunflower screen cause whether the passenger or the driver sits down, the screen faces toward them. Nifty. Oh yes, screen runs on android auto! I think. You can also swap the apps or settings around for the quick menu stuff so the settings that you usually wanna change can be easily accessed. Air con direction is also adjusted via the screen, I prefer this over physical levers, though they are pushing for the physical ones in the smaller brother S05. New Mercedes GLB launch! Comparing the AMG and base specs, I actually prefer the simpler, single colour spec on the base vs the multicolours on the amg but I’m loving the steering wheel on the amg variant! So Deepal is pronounced as DeePLE instead of DeePAL. The S05 is pretty spacious and overall I felt it has less warning sounds than the S07 and also because the car is smaller, it was more of a joy to drive. But definitely the S07 feels more lux with its finishings… tough choice! RRP is $178k with COE lah. Boot space: 492 Litres Or 1 human You can either send help or send money 💰 The usual walkaround! Also the brown leather interior looks SO MUCH BETTER than the black leather interior, next post shows the black. Test drive time! I think it’s awesome when during car launches we get to test drive the car because it gives us a more holistic experience and hence a more accurate review, like I can share my personal thoughts! Also the panoramic roof feels really sprawling in this car leh. Yes other modern cars also have this but idk why this feels different. I’ll try others, take note of this and get back to ya. Center console is cooled, I wanted to say it feels like jacuzzi with the duct spewing cold air HAHAHA but actually since they have usb charging port… you can charge handphone and keep it cool at the same time leh idea?? Uploaded this clip because it shows leg room space! This is the S05, the S07 is even bigger LOL Frunk space: 159 Litres. Phone tried to autocorrect it to drunk. Beauty shot by Ivan!
