Last August I was selected to go on a fully paid fellowship to Ghana through the @naacp and Amos C. Brown. The whole time I was thinking that I wanted to pay this forward by providing a paid opportunity for my peers to come to Ghana.

That is when @yania.campbell and I used our platforms to advocate for VSU to start a fellowship to Ghana. This is Ghana 2, the second delegation from VSU (15 faculty and 6 students) that travelled to Ghana to learn their history and ancestry. This is a legacy that will remain and continue.

It’s been 404 years since slavery has ended in Ghana. This fellowship marks us returning home.

Thank you God for this opportunity. You’re never too little to make a difference. Use your platforms you have now!

Being in the same room as the greatest in the game put a lot of things into perspective for me.

@etthehiphoppreacher told me “just don’t be here to be here. Take away something while you’re here.”

It was crazy that he told me this because the whole time I was wondering “why me” there’s millions of people who want this opportunity but why me out of everyone.

Then CJ @s2spodcast said “When you’re working in your purpose and your gift things will align and workout for you.”

The old me would’ve been nervous and shy. But I felt like I belonged. Nothings ever too big for you. God will put you in the right rooms and give you the best opportunities when you’re ready.

2019: I graduated from Benjamin Banneker

2026: I came back as the keynote speaker for the graduating class, speaking on what it truly means to be a Warrior (Banneker’s mascot) 🔥

Less than 10 years… and a lot has changed. My graduation cap said “Future CEO.” At the time, I had no idea what that journey would actually look like. I just believed it was possible.

Sometimes God will give you the vision before He gives you the blueprint. Your job is to keep showing up, keep believing, and keep working.

Real success isn’t measured by your portfolio. It’s measured by the portfolios you inspire others to build. We did a semester long financial literacy course at my HS alma mater this year and participants took advantage of the information and making real money. One student even bought a stock graduation morning. This a different type of flex for graduation 🎓📈

The summer has officially started 🔥

Yesterday I vended at The Layout Juneteenth event and met some amazing people. I appreciate everyone who purchased a game & shared kind words with me.
